## What is Alfred?

Clinicians spend over two hours per day on documentation. That's time taken from patients, from families, from the work that drew them to medicine in the first place.

Alfred changes that. It sits quietly in the exam room, listens to the conversation between doctor and patient, and produces a complete, structured SOAP note — ready for review and signature. No typing. No dictation templates. No after-hours charting.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Open Alfred and tap Record before your patient encounter begins.
2. Have your visit normally. Alfred captures the full conversation.
3. When you're done, tap Upload. Within minutes, Alfred delivers a structured clinical note with Subjective, Objective, Assessment, and Plan sections, along with suggested ICD-10 codes.
4. Review the note, make any edits, and sign it electronically. Done.

All AI-generated content — including transcriptions, clinical notes, and suggested codes — are drafts that require review, verification, and electronic signature by a licensed healthcare provider before becoming part of the medical record.

Alfred is intended for use by licensed healthcare professionals including physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other qualified clinicians credentialed to document patient encounters within their scope of practice. A Merza Medical account is required to use this app.

### 1.3.1 — 2026-08-20

Your notes, about twice as fast. On identical visits, the wait from tapping stop to a finished note dropped from 83 seconds to 45 — and the note now writes itself on screen while you watch instead of filling in behind a spinner.

• Every template is the note. An H&P, a BIRP note, a consult letter — your format opens as the note, and you edit it right there by tapping anywhere. Change formats later and compare with the one you came from.

• Say a Hot Cue out loud. Speak a phrase you've saved and Alfred offers the block it stands for, in the right section. One tap to accept.

• Your library is yours from day one. Every starter template, Hot Cue, and form can be edited, renamed, or removed — and brought back. Pick the forms that should fill themselves in after each visit.

• Point the camera at anything. Hold steady and Alfred captures it: chart pages, insurance cards, medication lists, even the barcode on a pill bottle. Findings appear as each page is read, stay with the visit and the patient, and you can add more at any time.

• Sign it your way. Draw, type, or photograph your signature once — it appears on notes, forms, referral letters, and exported PDFs with a dated attestation.

• Heard correctly. Dictating alone now reads as one voice, and a new duplicate-code check keeps your coding clean.

Plus a redesigned Visit Details menu, sharper note typography, and dozens of reliability fixes for uploads, captured context, and dropped connections.

### 1.3.0 — 2026-08-03

Alfred now gets you from "I heard about this" to your first finished note without waiting on anybody.

• Create your account in the app. Name, email, and you're documenting — no invitation to chase, no password to invent, and your first visits are free while you decide whether Alfred belongs in your day.

• Sign in with a code we email you. Tap "Email me a sign-in code," type the code, and you're in. Face ID takes over after that, so it's usually the only time you'll need it.

• Run your practice from your phone. If you manage a clinic, Settings › Practice now shows your clinicians, your open seats, and one link that invites the next hire. Solo clinicians never see it.

• A library the whole clinic shares. A practice can write a note template, a visit form, or a Hot Cue once and hand it to every clinician — so a new colleague's first note already sounds like the practice's.

• A guided first visit. New clinicians walk one demo encounter end to end on the real screens: scan the schedule, add a prior chart, record, watch the note write itself, hand the patient their summary. Skippable at any point, and replayable any time from Settings.

Plus a faster, steadier note pipeline and the usual round of fixes.
