## What is alias?

alias is an image search shopping app. Share any shoe photo — from your camera roll, a website, or a screenshot — and instantly see visually similar styles across global retailers.

How it works
  • Share a shoe photo to alias from Photos, Safari, or any app that supports
  the iOS share sheet.
  • Or upload from your library or take a photo directly inside the app.
  • Tap "Select Area" to crop tightly to one shoe when an image has more than
  one.
  • See visually similar shoes, ranked by how closely they match.
  • Tap any result to view it at the retailer.

Sneakers, designer heels, boots, sandals, mules, flats, and more, across luxury, resale, and contemporary brands.

Sort and refine
Sort results by Recommended, Lowest Price, or Highest Price. Tap a result you like and pick a quick refinement — by color, material, heel height, or silhouette — or describe what you want in your own words.

About the AI
alias uses a visual-similarity image embedding model to find products that look like the one you searched. Optional on-tap material descriptions are generated by a language model. We never use AI to generate product listings, ratings, or pricing — every result is a real product from a real retailer.
