It’s important to be able to playback through the app as from the pc sometimes is too frustrating since there’s no keyboard but a mouse to navigate and type with onto a digital keyboard. Needs more improved functions. ### 1/5 — Please remove “3.0” from App Title *2022-02-18, version 4.5.3* I discovered that a recent iOS update adds all app titles to the custom dictionary, and autocorrect then changes “30” to “3.0” like the app’s title. This means if I text someone “I’ll be there in 30 minutes”, it will autocorrect to 3.0 minutes. This is incredibly annoying as you may imagine. Deleting the app instantly solves the problem and doesn’t even require restarting the phone. ### 3/5 — Lacking some basic functionality *2022-01-28, version 4.5.3* The thing I find most frustrating is that you cannot scrub through video. If you drag the cursor on the timeline it will skip to wherever you let go and you don’t see any footage as you do it. You used to at least be able to fast-forward but that doesn’t seem to be an option now which is insane. Who has time to review footage in real time? I was not able to remotely access my cameras for a long time. Finally my genius brother in law unplugged the system and rebooted it. We went through the setup wizard and I had to re-add the device to my phone. Everything is working now, but it was a pain getting the device added to other phones. And This is the WORST system I have ever worked on. The people who sell this steaming pile of offal are charlatans. They assured my father that he would be able to install this system effortlessly, by himself. He doesn’t have much experience with these types of systems so he took them at their word. Since I had experience with security camera systems he asked me to help him set it up. Unfortunately the easiest part of the process was mounting the cameras. In order to connect the camera to the DVR you have to call the rude tech support people and have them impatiently walk you through the extremely complex and convoluted process of programming and connecting the cameras. Of course, first you have to manage to convince them to help you even though you are not a dealer. It doesn’t matter that you bought the system from them. They don’t want to help you unless you are a dealer or one of their technicians. None of the information on how to set up the cameras exists anywhere. Neither in the manual that comes with the product, nor on their website. They lie to people and tell them they can install this system themselves just so they can sell it. Then, when the unwitting customer buys it and finds it impossible to set up themselves they have no choice but to call these frauds for technical support only to find themselves bullied into paying them even more money to have them come out and program the system. And if anything goes wrong with your cameras, as has happened twice already in the year that this system has been up, (two of his five cameras have just died for no reason) you have to go through the whole unpleasant and stressful process again. Every time I need to use the cameras one camera work and then after that, it tells me you’re off-line after months and months of having having these issues I had to invest in a whole other system works perfectly fine and it’s on the same network. The app tells me off-line if I’m not using the app. Cameras look great if I go into a web web browser it’s strictly an app issue. Please also change the interface with the newest update it’s not nearly as good as the previous version.
