## What is Alice?

Founder Don Ariel spent 40 years studying human performance before asking a simpler question: what if children learned to see patterns before they learned to memorize facts?

What's New in This Update

Looks Better, Works Smoother
The menus, buttons, and overall layout got a fresh makeover — everything is cleaner and easier to navigate. There's also a cool new splash animation that plays when you first open the app, like a welcome screen.

Dark Mode
You can now switch to Dark Mode in settings, so the app is easier on your eyes at night.

Sound Controls
A new volume slider and mute button let you quickly control the audio without leaving the app.

Faster & More Responsive
Tapping around feels snappier. The spinning petal numbers stay visible a little longer after you tap them, so it's easier to see what you hit.

Battery & Performance Fix
The app used to keep running quietly in the background, wasting battery. Now it properly stops when you're not using it.

Landscape Mode Required During Playback
When the accompaniment is playing, you'll need to hold your iPad sideways. If you rotate it upright, a friendly reminder will appear to flip it back.

Updated Look & Identity
New app name, new app icon, and updated branding for 2026.
