### 5/5 — Love it

*2015-10-15*

My 2yo son calls my iPad Alien Buddies. That says it all.

Update: Just as big a hit with our second.

### 5/5 — 22 months

*2015-07-28*

Our 22 month old little boy LOVES this app... He gets 95+% on all of the letter and shape exercises and 90% on the color exercises. He gravitated to the letters first about 3 months ago and always chooses to play with this app. Now when he's playing the shapes module, he says the names of the shapes after a successful completion... Exclaiming' "oval fy! " (oval fly!)... Or "prescent fy!" (Crescent fly!).

We are so impressed with the engagement, entertainment and education of Alien Buddies. Great concepts and delivery. We have another boy on the way and we will be using this with him as well. Thank you and keep up the great work!

### 5/5 — Wonderful

*2015-01-09, version 1.2.7*

I love alien buddies, great educational tool for the little ones who are learning numbers and shapes.
The added bonus of collecting stickers is amazing.

### 5/5 — Helps with learning shapes and colors

*2014-12-25, version 1.2.7*

Our < 2-year-old loves this app, and although she needs adult help to get the most out of it, it has already helped her learn some colors.

### 5/5 — Grows with them

*2014-12-23*

I got this app when my twin grandsons were 2 years old. They are now five and still love it. It has provided hours of fun and fascination. My other grandson started playing with it when he was less then a year old. Whenever the grand kids see my iPad they insist on playing with this app. Everyone I recommend it to finds it helpful and fun. I like that it continues to challenge the kids.

### 5/5 — My 5 year old still loves this game

*2014-12-20, version 1.2.7*

I was surprised to hear my son still playing this after all this time. I think he was 2.5 when I first got it for him and didn't hear it for a while but just recently he started playing with it again. Obviously he doesn't remember it so its new to him :)

### 5/5 — Great

### 5/5 — Great App!

*2014-12-18, version 1.2.7*

Looks amazing on the iPhone 6 plus. Lots of fun and easy to use. Kids love it! Have you considered a line of Alien Buddies dolls?!? My kids would want one of each! Keep up the great work!

### 5/5 — Awesome app

*2014-07-18*

Our son has Global Developmental Delay, this app holds his concentration and has been such a great help with colours and shapes. I love watching him do his fist pump and cheer at the end of a game!

### 5/5 — Love it!

*2014-06-13, version 1.2.4*

My 2 yr old loves this app. She knows her shapes and colors from playing this. She also loves the puzzles.

### 5/5 — Father,husband

*2014-06-12, version 1.2.4*

This is the best game for kids to learn shapes, colors and numbers. My 2 yr old loves it. The kids will learn to identify the items visually and via an audio queue. This teaches them what they look like and how to say them! I don't keep much games on my phone for my 2 yr old, but you better believe alien buddies is on there

### 5/5 — Very good app

*2014-06-12, version 1.2.4*

My daughter keeps coming back to this app. She started with the colors, now she goes for the letters and sounds. Sometimes she plays with the jigsaw puzzles or connect the dots. I highly recommend it. It's easy to use and kids friendly.

### 5/5 — Love it- WHEE

*2014-04-02, version 1.2.3*

We got alien buddies a while ago and it's actually really interesting to see my son get into it. He's made a lot of progress on his letter recognition- more than this prek mama/teacher thought he would!!! It's quirky, cute, and educational. Have fun!

### 5/5 — Great learning app!

*2014-03-31, version 1.2.3*

Very fun to play with lots of learning activities! My son keeps coming back to his Alien Buddies again and again. Well done!

### 5/5 — Great for K - Pre K

*2013-11-01, version 1.2.3*

Fun and funny game. Good options. Good ordinal practice with dot to dot (with or without help option) and hilarious matching game. Highly recommended!

### 5/5 — We like

*2013-10-17, version 1.2.3*

I think this game is well designed. The sorting activities are great

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Boring

*2020-07-17*

No fun

### 2/5 — Disappointed

*2013-12-20*

This could be a 4+ star App but I am very surprised that the letters are pronounced by their names as opposed to their sounds, with no option to choose the correct phonetic pronunciation. Incidentally, I am an English subject leader at an "Outstanding" international school so I know what I am talking about :-)
I have to use this app with the voice switched off but what about parents who think they're helping their children when they are doing the opposite? i.e. saying "arrr" for the letter "r" etc.
If an update corrects this, then I would be happy to change my rating.
From an experienced educationist & a parent of 2 toddlers

### 3/5 — Please Fix

*2013-08-16, version 1.2.2*

The jigsaw puzzles clutter the form with the pieces, obscuring the outlines so that the younger kids (1.5 yrs) can not see where to put the pieces. BTW, these same kids already handle 10-12 piece wooden puzzles just fine. Please fix this app so that the pieces do not hide the outlines of the pieces.

### 3/5 — Good tool

*2012-06-27, version 1.2*

Game is great for my daughter to reinforce school lessons. However it could use a setting mode for parents to disable portions and extend past ten correct answers and endings the session.

### 4/5 — A kids favourite

*2016-05-13*

This game was my child's favourite from 3-5 years helping matching, thinking and time management as well as learning shapes and colours. Great for a few minutes sit down screen time to keep an energic boy focused.

### 4/5 — 3 Year old enjoys it

*2013-01-08, version 1.2.2*

My 3 year old daughter with autism enjoys this app. Great at learning/marching numbers and the dot to dot and puzzle activites help her with her fine motor skills. She likes the sounds when she gets it right but a little upset when she gets it wrong. I don't think it is the sound as much as frustration for her though.

### 4/5 — Good repetitive app for little ones

*2012-11-18, version 1.2.1*

My daughter lives to copy everything they say. Numbers are becoming very easy for her!

### 4/5 — Fun and engaging!

*2012-08-12, version 1.2.1*

Our PreK classroom enjoys this game. I like all the levels, but especially enjoy the matching. I wish that the puzzle showed you what it is supposed to look like for a longer period or gave you a choice of "let's go!" or something then split up the pieces. It just seems a bit fast that it breaks apart. Overall a good time, happy and fun.

### 4/5 — Great app

*2012-03-02, version 1.1.1*

This app is great, DOWNLOAD IT!!!. My three year old son loves it. Only suggestion would be to add higher numbers. Also, a suggestion would be to add a mazes section. It would add another educational tool for young minds learning to problem solve. But even without those things it's awesome!!

### 4/5 — wonderful educational and entertaining App

*2011-12-04*

Great fun learning App. Nicely designed and with good variety

All four of my kids love this game and they're learning!

### 5/5 — Four year old loves it

*2015-12-11*

Aliens and ufos teaching maths-what's not to love. Four year old regularly chooses this one. Love that if unsure of the number on the alien can tap for it to be said out loud. Never crashed etc. Highly recommend.

### 5/5 — Wonderful, well designed app!

*2015-10-30*

Alien Buddies is a delightful app that is fun for the preschool set and parents alike. My preschoolers have learned so much with this app. Love those aliens!

### 5/5 — So much fun & learning

*2015-10-23*

My youngest played this app when it first came out and now he just showed it to his 3yr old cousin.
The 3 year couldn't get enough, so I gifted it to him.
Great early skills for small kids.
