It may seem that items are out of your reach, but the game does a good job giving you enough credits and opportunities to get those items. I give it 4 stars for its run-and-gun gameplay. Would've been nice if there was a story to go along with the heroine though, seems like such a wasted possibility. ### 3/5 — Great game!!! *2013-05-18, version 1.5* Update: As someone else has already mentioned, there is an inevitable paywall that you will run into at a certain point. As such, i am lowering my review score to 3 stars from my original 5 stars. I have really enjoyed the game up to this point. It is a pity that everyone has to put IAP's in all their games now. I'd rather pay 5 bucks one time for a great game like this and then never have to worry about in-app purchases. I feel that IAP's are a major slap in the face to hardcore gamers everywhere. If a developer wants to put them in the game for someone who is too lazy to work through the game to get great loot and they'd rather cheat and buy it with IAP's, than that is fine. But when the developers put this crap in every game regardless, and you can't get through the game without spending more of your hard earned money, it is an insult to those of us that are true gamers. This is a great ARPG. I really like it. When I start the game it just shows a black screen ### 4/5 — A fun Futuristic dungeon slayer *2013-04-28, version 1.5* I've been having a lot fun playing this game. It's put together really well with a lots of detail and variety put into designing the enemies, weapons, armor, and environment. The action is pretty straight forward and fun. I think it's cool that I am rewarded with weapons, credits, and or supply's every so often just for playing. *Multiplayer co op would be a cool feature. Being able to mod weapons, have extended magazines, special ammo, and perks would be more fun to pick up through a level than the countless amount of armor and crap guns I do not need. 4 Stars ### 3/5 — Three stars, for now. *2013-04-27, version 1.5* The latest update did address the lag issue, but that's all it seemed to do. In place of it, crashes have become more frequent... Another issue, as has been stated before, is the prices of things. Upgrading stats in the skill tree take thousands of credits. The next-level upgrade (from 5,000) jumps up to 10,000. Yet, you're only getting maybe 2,000 credits per round, if that. Also, this is excluding costs for items and weapons from the shop to help you even get through the levels first. It just seems a bit unreasonable to charge 5,000 credits for 3% Hit rating. Maybe that's just me. ### 3/5 — Alien zone *2013-04-26, version 1.5* It's a great game, but every time I try to play the game, it send me back to the iPod home screen. And app support page is not in English so useless ### 1/5 — Update Deleted My Save and Purchases... *2013-04-20, version 1.4* Edit 2: Update deleted my old save... And all the gene capsules I bought. "Restoring" does nothing. Totally bummed, I really liked this game. I recommend playing this. Yes, it is in its early stages, but very promising. The lighting is very good, but like other reviewers said, it can get choppy. Reminiscent of older shooters, which is awesome, especially given the rpg element. Gameplay is a bit rinse and repeat, but there are hours of gameplay here. Try it!!! Edit: This update is great. New weapons are cool. Like other reviews said, if this had multiplayer support and other classes, it would be one of the best iOS games ever. I would also like to see some non-bullet firing weapons like laser guns, flamethrowers, plasma rifles, and rocket launchers. That ruined the experience for me. At lvl 20 you can't upgrade the passive tree with in game cash, you can only use gene capsules. This game is a lot of fun and I have put about 6 hours of gameplay in. I would rate this game a 4/5 if it wasn't for the terrible passive skill progression. I am level 22 and I have found less than 30 gene capsules from gameplay. Please give us side quests that grant gene capsules or allow us to purchase them with in game money earned through gameplay. I would make in app purchase but the store gives horrendous value for USD. ### 2/5 — Said it was free *2012-12-28, version 1.0* I thought this game was free cuz it said free and now I'm short 2.99 that I would have like to use on other things thxs.
