It rotates perfectly as you move it around, and creates alien 'targets' when you tap the screen. The targets move slowly towards the center and beep in a higher pitch as they do (the approach speed can be adjusted). For fans of the film it's a great gag to pull while walking out in the woods in the dark., because the sound is instantly recognizable! Only addition I would recommend is that as you tap more aliens on screen, the pinging sound should also multiply. That and a 'random mode' which will create targets automatically! ### 5/5 — Perfect for motion tracker *2025-04-10* This year my son and I are planning out Halloween in an aliens /sci-fi theme. An excuse to play with home assistant and house automation as we add some flair to the sci-fi decorations. This app once I put the iPad mini into a gizmo that looks like the movie will pairs naturally with the spyra water guns we have they look like the assault rifles that the marines used in aliens (and halo). Super simple but super cool. Just subtly tap the screen and a contact will appear to be baring down on you.
