I’ve used this for years and just think everyone should send the creator a personal hand written card letting him know how incredibly grateful we are that he built this from scratch and is basically not doing it for the $$$. Because he still is making updates! He could have easily made this app a subscription ongoing at $12.99 per month for all these features. But no it’s a one time small fee forever. Tell me where you can find an app creator or any app like this great without pricing so high then prem features add ons? You can’t. As a domestic violence survivor and brain injured person, this is a simplistic documentary app that’s evidenced day by day and need faithful and honestly. Sometimes your brain gets tired. This helps to make sure you are doing the right thing too. We all forget. Blessings on the creators of this. Just be able to click on it from the monthly calendar. I am high conflict so I have to log EVERYTHING so I have proof if I get taken back into court. Logging the times is too much and the courts only care about overnights, hours don’t matter. I was able to oranized his chaos in our lives down to the second with my evidence safely stored a locked away until I needed it. RECORDS Are the ONLY tool you need to win your custody case. This app allowed me a sense of constant peace knowing that everything and I do mean everything was store and secured in a place he could not hack into and steal or delete. Keep records of daily events. Things you did, store receipts, store pictures. You never know what kind of lies you may need to defend yourself against. If you’re still in the relationship but the escape hatch door is starting to open, download this app immediately and start recording now! I promise you it is a life changing app. Just wish that I could access this info on my Windows LT. it would make life SO MUCH Easter!! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Alimentor *2022-12-30, version 2.7.1* Very limited abilities Cannot send a variety of attachment types. ### 1/5 — Co-parents *2022-03-15, version 2.6.5* After tracking visits FaceTime and everything else that goes with this ugly thing called Divorce for almost 1.5 year I LOST EVERYTHING ON THIS APP. I amount of money I’ve put into my attorney and documented everything as I was told I’ve got NOTHING. Don’t trust this always have something to fall back on. When I opened this up this past weekend to add a visit ( mind you they come very far and few between) it was like opening it up the very first time. Why does the app have the setting tab open all the time and why does it take up 4/5 of the screen real estate? Why is the actual calendar so small on a 12 inch iPad Pro that I can barely read it? I feel it is really tedious and it’s lacking the ability to schedule weekday (Monday - Friday) repetitions makes it even take longer to add third-party time. In my opinion, the way the UI it’s set up makes it easy to make errors, a number pad would be nice rather then scrolls. I had to delete the schedules four times trying to set up a 4.3.3.4 with additional time since I work from home and the kids are with me more often. I couldn’t figure out where the error was. I don’t have time to sit here this long and try to figure it out to be honest I’d rather use my phone calendar a good pen and paper. Just won’t have the auto calculations of parenting time and a lot of the other features which I do like keeping everything in one places. ### 3/5 — Confusion *2021-01-02, version 2.5.2* I will gladly change my reviews to five stars because I think this app is very nice. However I am trying to share the calendar with my ex spouse and I am not able to do so easily. From what I read it looks like I have to go on my iCloud and share with him which I do not want to share any other information except for one months calendar. Is there a way of doing this?? Not the spreadsheet either. ### 3/5 — So far so good but... *2020-10-08* How do you put in school terms, school holidays, significant recurring dates like birthdays and get a report of time split over the whole year rather than individual months, and not necessarily from Jan-Dec, but from say a court order date? If you subscribe to a school holiday calendar in the Settings application on your iPhone, you will be able to view these events in Alimentor. In reporting settings you can set a custom reporting period that will suit your needs. ### 3/5 — Little Glitchy *2019-12-20, version 2.3.1* It’s a little glitchy, but still does its job. Sometimes it can just be annoying. For example, sometimes the time changes after you select them and have to do it again. Also, the scheduled non-custodial times don’t calculate correct. I put 1, 3, and 5th and it would mess up on the next month and do the 2nd and 4th somehow. Still a good tool, just frustrating sometimes. ### 3/5 — ALMOST perfect *2019-08-17, version 2.2.1* We love this app. Started with version 1 then moved to this which works much better. It’s so easy to use and I love the planned vs actual calendars. I wish the reports generated were more concise, there is a lot of repetition. We like to give them to our attorney but with 3 kids it’s like handing over a novel. What’s more, I REALLY REALLY wish there was a MESSAGING/COMMUNICATION feature. We finally found a coparenting messaging app we like but we don’t like the calendar. Love the calendar here, but can’t use the the app to communicate. So, stuck using 2 apps. :( ### 3/5 — Need to be able to do text messages. *2019-05-13, version 2.1.7* This app is not too bad. It does have a good price point. I wish it would include a communication section. It would be more comparable to some other apps on the marketplace, if it was able to capture text and timestamp and have them be non-editable, and be able to provide those in PDF format if the court wants to see those. I will be changing apps to one that has functionality. ### 4/5 — Great app but this is NOT a custody sharing app *2024-05-31, version 2.7.9* Just an FYI - this is not a family sharing app. This is a personal log for one parent. I thought I'd be able to invite my ex to share the calendar, expenses, etc. My fault for not doing my research, but a heads up to anyone else. I do wish it had that option and could be a one and done app instead of using another app for sharing, messaging, etc. but otherwise, I actually really like it! I'm going to keep it for my own records. I love that I can see the percentages of how much time our kid spends with each parent. My ex and I are pretty amicable but this has a lot of great features to help parents collect and protect their evidence. I printed off over 70 pages for court and was really able to paint a picture with consistent documentation. You have the ability to add pictures and screenshots to every journal entry. I add expenses with receipts and texts that the expense was reported. When reimbursed it can be added. The reports are super customizable. It’s a wealth of information and so thorough if you document as you go.
