Permanent funktioniert die App beim bezahlen nicht was zu unschönen Situationen in Bars oder Restaurant führen kann. Die App ist derartig amateurhaft übersetzt, dass immer wieder Missverständnisse auftreten. In einem Land wie China wo ALLES digital ist so eine App zu fordern die zu 20% funktioniert ist eine bodenlose Unverschämtheit. DiDi rufen über die App funktioniert bei uns seit Tag 3 nicht mehr, da eine alte Fahrt noch immer in der Bezahlpipeline bei Alipay hängt und wir dadurch uns nur noch per Taxi oder ÖPNV fortbewegen können. Diese kann seitens Alipay auch nicht entfernt werden, außer wir verifizieren uns neu. Dafür ist eine neue Rufnummer notwendig also auch ein schlechter Joke. Yet the two main apps are absolutely terrible. Alipay’s English version is still 30% Chinese. It will constantly ask you for verification for all the different mini apps, that you can’t do, because it will ask you for a Chinese Bank Card! It’s muddled, confusing, error messages are in Chinese, not intuitive, not quality checked using native English speakers etc etc. It makes a trip to China for a holiday a horrible experience. Security is also a major issue. There is no help available except bots. It is very very easy to lose a lot of money in this app. If you are going to China, be prepared for endless rears and frustration. It says translated and nothing changed on the page at all. When I try to order food or pretty much do anything I repeatedly get the same issue, “system error”. I wouldn’t even be that upset, it’s just an app that doesn’t work. It’s weird, but I guess it happens, what really really infuriates me is it? I gave them my passport information in my home address.
