## What is Alisa Assistant?

ALISA (formerly ARIA) is an AI assistant for your email, calls and calendar. It prepares replies, answers your calls, follows up for you and shows what needs your decision, all in one calm place on mobile and web. You review before anything goes out.

ASK ALISA, ANYWHERE

• Tap the assistant button on any page to ask about it. ALISA already knows which email, call, event, package or contact you're looking at, and suggests questions to try
• Press and hold to ask out loud, then pull the answer up to carry on in Chat
• Today's Agenda opens as a small bar that keeps reading while you use the app, and you can ask about it
• Ask ALISA to keep checking on something, or to remind you when you choose. Nothing starts until you tap Start

YOUR DAY AT A GLANCE

• Home shows only what has something in it and fits on one screen
• Search emails, calls, contacts and events from one place
• Daily and weekly briefs, and an Agenda that explains what matters and the next decision
• Packages followed from your shipping emails, with arrivals on your Agenda and optional alerts. No carrier sign-ins
• One-tap Join for Zoom, Google Meet, Teams and more, including links built from meeting IDs and dial-in numbers

EMAIL READY FOR YOUR REVIEW

• Choose which emails ALISA handles: only emails you label, all new emails, only people you choose, or your own list
• ALISA reads the whole conversation before preparing a reply, so it skips mail that needs none
• Review and edit each draft, then send with a few seconds to Undo
• Schedule replies and new emails for a date and time
• Save emails you send again and again as templates, with attachments and fill-ins
• Ask ALISA to write a new email from a sentence, or change what you already wrote
• Confirmation emails with an event can go on your calendar, with Undo (Standard and Pro)

CALLS THAT KEEP CONTEXT AND FOLLOW UP

• Set up your own ALISA number from Calls. ALISA answers, and offers real open times, never made-up ones
• Read call transcripts, summaries and suggested follow-ups
• Every call ALISA can't answer shows up in Missed, with the reason
• Where enabled and consented, privately play retained recordings

CONTACTS WITH MEMORY

• Bring together authorized communication history, commitments, projects, preferences and notes for each contact
• Use that context when preparing calls and emails, and review next actions before anything is sent

YOUR LANGUAGE, YOUR SCREEN

• Use ALISA in English or Spanish. Your screens, Agenda, Chat replies and notifications follow your choice, and translations are made by AI, so some wording may be off
• Tablets and foldable phones get a side rail and two columns
• A web app built for large screens, with an Ask ALISA panel that knows what's open

MADE FOR EVERYONE

• ALISA Sans, ALISA's own typeface, with a Large cut for low vision
• Contrast checked in light and dark, text that flows at large sizes, screen reader support, and Reduce Motion, Reduce Transparency and Increase Contrast
• Secure biometric sign-in on supported devices

DESIGNED FOR CONTROL AND TRUST

ALISA follows an approval-first approach. Drafts, scheduling decisions and destructive actions include review or confirmation steps where appropriate. Recording features are available only when enabled and consent requirements are met. Permissions support the features you choose, including microphone access for voice and optional photo access for your profile.

ALISA offers Basic, Standard and Pro plans, billed monthly or yearly. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel any time in your Apple Account settings.

### 4/5 — Keeps Me Organized!

*2026-10-29*

With having a busy schedule this keeps me organized on a day to day basis. It’s really like having a personal assistant in your pocket. Love to see what comes next!

### 4/5 — Finally organized

*2026-10-22*

I use the app mostly for work. I have my own business with no additional staff so this app helps me to organize my daily tasks. The app is pretty good overall, but there’s definitely room for improvement. It’s easy to use, but I’d love to see more features and customization options added to make the experience feel more personalized. With a few updates, it could be even better.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 9.4.4 — 2026-11-04

What's New in ALISA 9.4.4

ARIA is now ALISA: the same assistant and the same logo, with a new name. Your Agenda keeps reading while you use the app, you can connect a Zoho Mail inbox, and drafts and calls get smarter.

NEW NAME: ARIA IS NOW ALISA

• The app, the website and our terms and policies now call the assistant ALISA, and the name on your home screen changes to match. When ALISA answers a call, it introduces itself by its new name. Your account, data and settings are unchanged.

• Your email label keeps working: Keep using your inbox's current Gmail label or Outlook category, even if it still says ARIA. The rename doesn't move your selected emails, and reconnecting keeps the same selection. New inboxes with no label yet get ALISA.

NEW: YOUR AGENDA KEEPS READING

• A small bar that keeps reading: Today's Agenda opens as a small bar, so ALISA reads it while you move between screens. It shows whether ALISA is getting it ready, reading it, or has stopped. Tap it or the assistant button to open the whole Agenda and ask about it, swipe down to make it small again, and close it to end it.

• Starts right away: If you listen to your Agenda most days, ALISA gets it ready before you open the app, so it starts reading without a pause.

NEW: ZOHO MAIL

• Connect a Zoho Mail inbox: Add Zoho Mail next to Gmail and Outlook in Settings. ALISA handles only the emails you choose, marked with an ALISA label in Zoho, prepares replies for your review, and sends only the ones you approve. Find my signature takes your signature from Zoho's own settings without reading any email.

• A Zoho conversation stays in Pending until you handle it in ALISA, since ALISA doesn't look for replies you send from Zoho itself.

NEW: CHECK BEFORE YOU SEND

• When a reply ALISA drafts has an amount, date, time, phone number or link it couldn't find in the conversation or the contact's notes, a short line under the draft names it. It never stops you from sending.

NEW: A MORE NATURAL VOICE ON CALLS

• When ALISA answers, it deals with what the caller just said first and asks only what it needs. While it checks your calendar, it says so instead of leaving silence. After a booking, a thank-you gets a goodbye, and the call ends cleanly. A summary gives a partly heard phone number as said and marks it incomplete.

• Better booking: A caller can move a meeting they just booked, once, and a time picked with a goodbye ("I'll take the first one, thanks, bye") is still booked.

NEW: A WELCOME THAT EXPLAINS ITSELF

• A short welcome walk: New accounts see three quick pages, on Email, Calls and your Agenda, before signing up. Skip it any time.

• What Google or Microsoft will ask, explained first: Before their permission screen, ALISA shows what each permission is for: it reads and labels only the emails you choose, sends only the replies you approve, and adds events to your Agenda. If a permission is left off, ALISA tells you instead of showing an inbox that can't work.

AND MORE

• Redeem a code: Plan settings and the subscription screen can redeem App Store offer codes.

• Replies go where they should: When a contact form or booking service names the customer in Reply-To, your approved reply goes to the customer instead of the service.

• Contacts: Swipe left on a contact to call or delete, or press and hold to select several.

• Calendar reminders arrive once, even for all-day events.

• Coming back to a locked ALISA no longer gets stuck.

• A Gmail inbox that hits Google's rate limit now recovers on its own.

### 9.3.0 — 2026-10-25

What's New in ARIA 9.3.0

Three big additions: Ask ARIA on every page, packages that follow themselves, and the weather and drive for your day.

NEW: ASK ARIA, ANYWHERE

• Tap to ask: Tap the assistant button on any page to ask about it. ARIA already knows what you're looking at, whether an email, call, event, package, contact or Settings section, and suggests questions to try. Pull the sheet up to carry on in Chat.

• Hold to ask out loud: Press and hold the button and speak. Let go for your answer, or slide away to cancel.

• Your Agenda, in Ask ARIA: Today's Agenda no longer starts on its own. If you read it aloud on open, ARIA opens it in Ask ARIA once the app is on screen and reads it there, and you can ask about it or continue in Chat. Otherwise the assistant button hops and shows a dot until you've heard it.

• Follow-ups and reminders: Ask ARIA to keep checking on something ("tell me what's arriving each morning this week") or to remind you when you choose. Nothing starts until you tap Start. Updates arrive in Chat with a notification, and Follow-ups in Chat history lists what's running, with Stop.

• The assistant button ripples while ARIA speaks.

NEW: PACKAGES ON YOUR AGENDA

ARIA follows your packages from the shipping emails you've already given it, with no carrier sign-ins. Today's arrivals appear on your Agenda, and each opens to the store, progress from Ordered to Delivered, and a tracking link. Optional alerts cover shipped, late, arriving today and delivered. Ask "where's my order?" Turn it on under Settings > Inbox > Deliveries. Food delivery is followed only if you add a rule that names the service.

NEW: WEATHER AND DRIVE (Standard and Pro)

• In your Agenda: ARIA mentions the weather and the drive for an event only when it matters, like rain at an outdoor event or a long drive with traffic, and sends a leave-by reminder. Open any event to see its place, the weather while it runs, and when to leave.

• Ask about any place: Ask "What's the weather in Austin on Saturday?" or "When should I leave?" with no ZIP code needed. Add Home and Work under Settings > Real-world info.

• Near you: Ask for "coffee near me" and tap Use current location. "Here" works in your events, and so do "on my way" emails. ARIA uses your location only when you allow it.

Weather and traffic come from Google Maps.

AND MORE

• A signature for each inbox: In an inbox's settings, tap Find my signature and ARIA offers signatures from that inbox's 10 most recent sent emails, with logos and colors, and keeps only the one you choose. Or write your own. It goes out under your replies.

• Contacts fill themselves in: With relationship memory on, contacts gain their job title, company, number and website from their own signatures, without overwriting what you've set.

• Outlook, like Gmail: Outlook inboxes can now choose All new emails.

• Missed calls, with the reason: Every call ARIA can't answer, except ones your rules block, lands in Missed with the reason and a notification. The "minutes held" notice is gone.

• Faster chat: Replies start to show sooner, and live dictation keeps your first words.

• A number local to you: If you subscribe through the App Store, setting up your ARIA number asks which ZIP code it should be local to.

• Clear when something's down: A status bar and full screens tell you when you're offline or ARIA can't be reached, then reconnect on their own.

• Tab bar your way: On tablets and foldables, choose which side the tab bar stands on under Settings > Appearance.

• The week tile counts meetings and events, and the Calls gear opens call settings. Calendar items are called meetings only when they have guests or a join link.

• Simpler Settings with one way into Account, consistent English throughout, and callers transcribed in English on calls ARIA answers.

• Safer account: Resetting your password signs you out of every device, and your account data has stricter protections.

### 9.2.2 — 2026-10-18

What's New in ARIA 9.2.2

Talk to ARIA and watch your words appear, and see at a glance whether your ARIA number will answer.

• Dictate on Home: The microphone on Home's Ask tile now opens the Ask box already listening, and your words appear as you speak, in Home and in Chat. Tap stop to keep the text and edit it, or send while you're still listening.

• Your ARIA number says if ARIA will answer: The number card on Calls now shows Answering, Needs a plan or Out of minutes, so you know before a caller reaches a dead end.

• A cleaner Agenda: Meeting suggestions whose times have all passed no longer wait in your Agenda for you to reject them, and your Daily brief skips them too. A suggestion with a later time keeps only the times still ahead.

• Chat starts fresh: Tap Chat while a conversation is open to go back to Chat's start page.

• Updates arrive sooner: When a new update is ready, ARIA switches to it as you open the app, instead of waiting for the next full restart.

• Small touches: The button that starts a call now shows a phone instead of a plus, and Chat and Calls no longer draw a line between their two panes on tablets and foldables.

### 9.1.0 — 2026-10-17

What's New in ARIA 9.1.0

ARIA 9 is a complete redesign of the mobile app, with a simpler start, smarter email, calls that follow up for you, and now Spanish and room to stretch on tablets and foldables.

• Spanish: Choose Español under Settings > Language. Screens, your Agenda, Chat replies and notifications follow it. The translation is made by AI, so some wording may be off. Email replies follow each email's language, and live calls stay in English.

• Tablets and foldables: Home, Inbox, Calls, Agenda, Contacts and Settings use the extra room, with a side rail and two columns, and adapt to foldable phones. Every page now lines up on the same margins.

• A rebuilt web app: Made for large screens, with a board, three-pane Inbox, Calls and Contacts, and an ARIA panel (Ctrl J) that knows which email, call or contact is open.

• A new look on every screen: Warm stone and ink with one clay accent, frosted-glass cards, edge-to-edge pages and calm motion, through sign-in, plans and settings. The icon follows light and dark.

• Easier to start and use: One welcome screen, a choice of which emails ARIA handles, one Send with a few seconds to Undo, and notifications asked for only when your first draft arrives. Call for me takes three questions, and Settings is six sections.

• Smarter email: ARIA reads the whole conversation, headers and age before preparing a reply, so it stops drafting for mail that needs none. Confirmation emails with an event (Standard and Pro) go on your calendar with Undo.

• Send later and templates: Schedule replies and new emails. Save emails you send again and again, with attachments and fill-ins, format with a rich-text toolbar, send to up to 25 people, or ask ARIA to write or change a new email.

• Home at a glance: Tiles show only what has something in them. Ask ARIA about your day also searches emails, calls, contacts and events. Mail, calls and notifications group by day, week and month.

• Calls that follow up: When a business is closed, busy, on voicemail or asks for a callback, Call for me can try again up to 3 times in 7 days, between 8 AM and 9 PM their time, and alerts you each time. When ARIA answers a call, it never makes up open times and offers the earliest real ones when yours are full.

• Your ARIA number: Set it up from your App Store subscription's country, with no billing-address step. If ARIA can't find it, tap Restore purchases in Plan & billing.

• One-tap Join: Zoom, Google Meet, Teams and many more, including links built from meeting IDs and dial-in numbers.

• ARIA Sans and accessibility: ARIA's own typeface with a Large cut for low vision, contrast checked in light and dark, text that flows at large sizes, screen reader support, and Reduce Motion, Reduce Transparency and Increase Contrast, on mobile and web.

• Older items stay: Scroll back through older emails, calls and notifications without the list jumping to the top, and the apps start and scroll lighter.

• Clearer names: Board, Agenda and "to review" are used everywhere, and a contact's matters are now called projects.

• Newer AI, steadier calendar: ARIA's writing, summaries and spoken replies run on newer AI models. Outlook events keep their own reminders, different events at the same time aren't flagged as duplicates, scheduling proposals no longer vanish, and read or deleted notifications stay gone after a refresh.

### 8.16.1 — 2026-10-03

What's New in ARIA 8.16.1

• Updated terms, clearly agreed: Sign-up now asks you to confirm you are 18 or older and agree to the Terms of Use, Acceptable Use Policy and Subscription Terms. Existing accounts get advance notice before changes take effect and can agree early. A new Legal section in Settings shows document versions and your agreement date, and purchase screens state the price and "Renews automatically until canceled."

• A clear AI notice on calls: Every inbound call now tells the caller they are speaking with an AI assistant and that the call may be recorded and transcribed. When your greeting ends with a question, callers hear the greeting, the notice, then the question.

• A clearer Board: Each decision shows its channel, a status such as Send failed, High priority, Scheduling request or Missed call, and a short preview. Buttons name the action: Retry send, Choose a time, Review draft, Return call, Review call or Reconnect.

• Know what's next: A live "next up" countdown and a Coming up timeline show start times, durations, free gaps and overlaps. The top of the Board splits today's decisions by emails, calls and agenda.

• Agenda meetings at their real length: A 15-minute meeting is no longer drawn as an hour long, and back-to-back meetings stack cleanly on web and mobile.

• Faster, more natural calls: ARIA answers sooner, checks your calendar while it asks how long the meeting should be, and reads times and confirmations like a person ("You're booked for tomorrow, the 1st, at 12:30 PM"). It thanks callers by name, gently checks in when a caller goes quiet, and repeats the offered times when asked.

• Fewer call mistakes: ARIA no longer claims trouble after a confirmed booking, answers a turn twice, or asks callers to repeat words they never said after line noise. It keeps a corrected name even when only the surname is spelled.

• Clearer missed calls: A caller who hangs up before speaking is labeled as a missed call instead of a call with an unavailable transcript, and no AI summary or transcript prompt is created.

• More dependable delegated calls: If the person you called hangs up, the call is no longer reported as failed, and what they said after consent is kept. ARIA checks in once if they go quiet, recovers from dropped audio steps, and stays on your side of the conversation.

• A guided welcome tour: The mobile guide is now a step-by-step walkthrough with a progress bar, Back and Next, and shortcuts to jump straight to each area.
