## What is AlisLog?

AlisLog is a food log with no server to breach.

No account. No ads. No analytics. Your logs are written to your phone and stay there — there is no database of AlisLog users because there are no AlisLog users to have a database of.

And it budgets by the week, not the day. One big dinner isn't a failed day; it's a line in a weekly ledger you can still balance.

AlisLog Premium subscription details:

• AlisLog Premium Monthly — $2.99 per month, auto-renewing
• AlisLog Premium Annual — $19.99 per year, auto-renewing
• AlisLog Premium Lifetime — $59.99, a one-time purchase, not a subscription

Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. A subscription renews automatically unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel a
subscription in your Apple Account settings after purchase.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.2.3 — 2026-09-21

Version 1.2.3 patch notes -

Favorites & Item Info -
Favorites are back where you can see them. If you favorite/star a food, you can now see and access it via the add food sheet. Per item info is also back to provide some context on items and tell you where the nutrition information is coming from.

Behind the scenes -
The search system got a slight upgrade to make it more consistent between searches with varying word order, as before. If you changed the order of words for a search, like putting small in the start versus the end, it would sometimes give different results, which was weird and not very good. So, now the system should be much better and more consistent in that aspect.

New Streaks -
Now streaks have some depth to it, the longer you track, the closer you get to a new streak look with new colors. It's basically like a rank ladder for the streak pill. If you tap on the streak pill, you can see the full ladder and how far you are from the next level.

New Appearance -
Now you can square off the whole app. Just head into settings -> style -> corners, and select which style you would like the app to be in. Just a small customization addition that I figured would be nice.

Smaller Tweaks -
Adjustments to the paper background texture, micro animations, and general improvements.

### 1.2.2 — 2026-09-11

Bug Fixes, Quality Of Life, & UI Polish -

In this update, I've remodeled the "build a recipe" sheet to hopefully make the recipe creation experience better in the app. So, the recipe sheet got a UI polish pass, simplified the UI, and removed visual clutter while maintaining the same level of information.

For quality of life, I've expanded how the edit menu functions, made it make more sense, streamlined the whole add-and-edit system, and made persisting sheets a thing, so now if you accidentally close your big list of items, it doesn't just vanish.

I've also improved the way ingredients are handled in the recipe builder.

### 1.2.1 — 2026-09-08

Bug Fixes & New UI polishing -

Recipes page rebuilt. A recipe now knows how many it makes, can contain another recipe, and can carry the things you serve it with — the tortilla that goes with the filling, without being in it. Every ingredient is one line; tap the amount to change it, type any number. Logging asks one question: how much? And with a household, a recipe goes straight to the other phone.

Also in this update: Add food, redesigned. One field, four ways in (search, describe, photo, scan), your recipes and kitchen underneath, your recent foods at hand. Tap anything and one small window asks how much — type a number, pick a unit, adjust the nutrition, and add it to the meal you choose. The pantry, your recipes, and your cookbooks got the same clean look, cookbooks have covers and colors, and editing anything — a search result, a pantry product, a logged item — happens in one small window that types over the old number.

The Bug -
Scanning a barcode is free — it no longer counts toward the daily AI lookups.

### 1.2.0 — 2026-09-07

Another Big Update -

Web Console -
The star of the show, Web Console, which allows you to privately, End-to-End encrypted, connect to your computer via the Alislog website and see pretty much everything in a nice, simple view, all of your data in one place. There is no account, and the website never sees your key or your data, and the snapshot that you create in the initial connect gets deleted in 24 hours. I thought this would be a cool feature if you needed to show someone your diet, goals, etc., or simply want to see all your stats.

Apple Health Expansion -
You can now choose to let the app write back to Apple Health to give it data about your calories, weight, macros, etc.

New Styles -
Now there are two new premium styles to choose from, Terminal and Editorial.

Updated Light Theme -
Now you can create a custom light theme to further customize to your heart's content

Expanded App Icon Customization -
You can now have the app icon follow what your current theme is, and also set a custom colored app icon, with the option to make the icon background dark or light.

And More General Updates -
Widgets match your theme color, a wider CSV export that includes more information about fasts, supplements, water, weight, and per-item details, a fasting timer that shows when it started, improved sub-text to make it simpler, and a new tip card highlighting Siri functionality.

### 1.1.0 — 2026-08-29

V1.1.0 Update notes (Customization Galore, Improvements to Siri, and various smaller app features)

Customization -

Added a new customization option called "Style," which completely changes the look of the app's UI. Currently, there is only one style, "Print," but I hope to expand it in the near future. I also added a new customizable background option for you to tinker with and create a unique-looking app, featuring different textures, colors, and a custom gradient where you can select two colors to create your background.

Expanded Siri voice logging -

Now, if you ask Siri to log a food in AlisLog, Siri will ask you what you ate and automatically search for the nutrition and log it to your day, all without even opening the app. Water logging works better now, and you can also ask Siri to start a fasting timer for you. All pretty cool if you ask me.

Easier Day/Week Sharing -

Now, in the top right corner of the Today's Log, you can share your day's breakdown, and if you go to the history tab, you can now share your week summary with someone.

Various other things -

Added auto-starting fasting timer with whatever time you select, alerts to tell you when your fasting window opens, one-tap recipe logging, repeat a meal from yesterday, updated goal celebration and animations, and improved widgets.
