The App can be used to turn switches on and off according to the user’s requirement. Furthermore, the App also enables the following mentioned functions: 1 - It can also be used for controlling the intensity of lights and regulate speed of ceiling fans. A quick click on the intensity control helps change the mood of the room completely which includes fan speed, lighting, temperature, etc. 2 - The App also tracks your usage and consumption of electricity via analytics, thereby providing foresight to predict your electricity bill and study your usage patterns thereby helps you to save electricity. 3 - Aliste allows you to set schedules for your electrical appliances, thereby increasing the convenience with which you operate your appliances. Residents are forced to keep recharging electricity with no unlimited plan available. Even though the property has solar panels, the electricity charges feel unreasonably high and the unit consumption shown in the app raises serious questions. The billing system lacks transparency, making it difficult to trust the charges being applied. Would not recommend. Fraud !! I don’t wanna stay in hostel due to the poor experience better I stay at my symbiosis college ### 1/5 — Very poor service. Extort you for more money by cutting your power. *2026-03-16* I have been living at a rented property managed by HelloWorld for about 2.5 months now. We had an agreement for the services included in the monthly rent which explicitly included the maintenance charges (I have an email from their side confirming this). However, in the 2nd month they suddenly added an extra ₹1000/- maintenance charge and cut off my power until I paid the charge. When I raised a ticket on the app, they closed it the same day without any contact with me and marked it as resolved. Do not trust this app or the company HelloWorld. They extort money from you and I plan on taking legal measures against this latest extortion of theirs. ### 2/5 — Unable to sign in using GOOGLR/APPLE *2025-12-15* I got logged out but when I try to login again, since I use google - it is not working on ios device. The option is displayed but is not clickable Please update it ASAP ### 1/5 — Worst *2025-07-19* “Worst app and worst service ever! Aliste Electricity app is nothing but a scam. They show random extra units every month and charge way more than the actual consumption. I’ve been getting inflated bills with extra money added for no reason, and their system never shows accurate readings. Even after complaining, customer care keeps giving excuses and doesn’t resolve anything. The app is full of glitches — payment fails, history doesn’t load, and everything feels rigged to take more money from us. It’s frustrating and unacceptable how they are looting customers like this.” ### 1/5 — Worst app do not use it *2025-06-07* In stanza living they have started this prepaid thing using aliste app it is waste on money they will overcharge over consumption will come for 3 4 days bill is coming around 400 they will deduct unnecessary charges i am seriously frustrated ### 1/5 — Scam *2025-05-26* This app is used in building where i live and these people are scammers. Somedays electricity consumption shows as 3 units and suddenly for next day it shoots upto 15units without any explanation. They will also charge you any random amount as your room charges. And the worst part is their customer support. There is no way to reach out to them. You can just raise a ticket and they will call you only if they wish to. I am paying a lot of money for electricity only because of this app. Would never recommend anyone to use it. ### 1/5 — Over consumption everyday *2025-05-09* We are getting 10 units consumption for using AC for 5 mins and it already happened thrice and we didn’t get our refund. This app has too many issues and doesn’t work properly and the team never responds or else they blame us instead of refunding. Stop using this app it’s of no use and full of scam. ### 1/5 — Worst customer acquisition *2025-05-04* I am using it for last 1.2 years. During shifting and re allocation these guys had made my life terrible. I have left office for a day or two so that they can installed it. But they have terrible Custumer service and a very egoistic approach. I will not recommend this device to anyone. Such egoistic approach towards the Custumer issue, is the least I had expected. Will update over the refund of deposit. Say No! To these start ups. Who just come over shark tank and give fancy screen time. But trust me it’s all fake. ### 1/5 — Unfair Electricity Charges via Aliste App in PGs *2025-05-03* I've been using the Aliste app in my PG accommodation, and honestly, the experience has been very disappointing. While the app itself is designed to let PG owners or landlords manage and monitor electricity consumption, in reality, it’s being misused. The biggest issue is that the PG owner sets the electricity unit charges at their own will. There's no consistency—some days they charge 3 units, and other days it jumps to 7 units without any valid explanation or visible change in consumption. This kind of manipulation makes it feel unfair and exploitative for tenants who already pay a fixed rent. Aliste should implement a feature where unit pricing is standardized or at least made transparent, and where users (tenants) can track actual usage vs. charged units. Until then, this app is just another tool for some PG owners to take advantage of residents. ### 1/5 — Issue with app auto update *2025-04-22* I have installed your app from appstore.
