### 5/5 — Must-have application.

*2016-07-14, version 3.0*

This app is simple, sleek, and most importantly, it saves me time. It's clean interface allows me to quickly figure out where I am and where I need to go. A must have app for regular commuters and tourists alike!

### 5/5 — Great Stuff

*2016-07-14, version 3.0*

### 5/5 — So clean and easy to use

*2015-04-07, version 2.05*

This app is great because it does one thing extremely well. If you live in Chicago and take the bus, it's a must download. 👍👍👍

### 5/5 — Love it and use it most days

*2015-04-07, version 2.05*

I love how simple to use this app is. No fiddling around with the CTA's jumbled mess, just put in where you are and where you're going and boom. I have also found it to be very accurate, where as the CTA app tends to lag often.

### 5/5 — Public Transit Dream

*2015-04-06, version 2.05*

Love this app. Simple and accurate.

### 5/5 — So far so goo

*2014-07-10, version 2.05*

Fast and simple

### 4/5 — Best of What's Around

*2013-09-29, version 2.05*

I've desperately been trying to find a replacement for Buster since the developer of that app stopped working on it. This one is pretty, pretty close to being as useful. The iOS 7 look and feel is great and the app is super fast, unlike most of the far-too-complicated interfaces other transit apps have.

Honestly, if the developer adds a favorite/frequently used stops list, it'll be perfect. It doesn't even need to make the interface more complicated; just have them show up when you open the app. Either way, good work and worth a download -- and the price.

### 5/5 — Simple & Elegant

*2013-09-25, version 2.0*

Beautiful and minimalist uncluttered with no ads
Always accurate

### 4/5 — Simple and elegant

*2013-05-06, version 1.3*

It does what it's supposed to do. Very simple and easy to use. It just works.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Not working right now gives me wrong information on bus

*2025-07-03, version 4.1*

Give wrong details on bus

### 1/5 — Not working lately

*2016-03-02, version 2.05*

I loved this app when it worked. It predicated probably the best anything could predict a cta bus. But nothing has loaded the last few days. If it gets fixed I'd change my rating to at least a 4. Would be nice if it also tracked trains.

### 1/5 — 😒

*2016-03-02, version 2.05*

App isn't working

### 1/5 — Looks great, but not functional

*2015-03-26, version 2.05*

Yes, the design is looks good. Simple and clean. Unfortunately "simple and clean" in this case means totally lacking any useful features. I understand the appeal of minimalism, but only being able to see times for where you currently are geographically is just not very useful. Often I'm on my way to a stop, and want to know how fast I need to get there. This app can't help me. Is there a way to set the only two buses I ever ride as favorites? Because I can't see one. And the search function is glitchy for me--every time I tap on the little bus list icon in the left corner, the app freezes and gives me an error message I need to click through. If it was at least accurate I could forgive some of these sins, but more often than not the times are totally wrong. Deleting this app.

### 1/5 — Ugh

*2015-01-04, version 2.05*

Awful accuracy. I missed so many buses because of bad info on this app. Also doesn't allow you to search stops beyond your immediate geography. Just not a very functional app. The design is clean and sophisticated but without good functionality and info it's just frustrating.

### 2/5 — THE APP IS BOW FREEZING!! FICK IT😡

*2016-03-02, version 2.05*

I have been using this app for months, but start from the date March 1,2016 it's is not loading any BUS ROUTES AT ALL!!

### 2/5 — No PACE busses

*2015-12-05, version 2.05*

The App Store search brings up this app under "PACE busses". However, there are no PACE busses in it. Good for the limited area it covers, I guess.

### 2/5 — No frills

*2015-10-01, version 2.05*

All the interface is is just a list of all CTA buses. You select your bus, then the direction you want to go, then your stop--*every time*--and it tells you how soon the next few buses are coming. On the plus side, it's a very responsive, zippy app. On the minus side, there are no other features *at all*. This would be a good app for people who know Chicago well & also often find themselves at random places. However, if you have a certain route(s) that you regularly take, there's no way to save that in here; you have to look up bus/direction/stop every time. Doesn't fit my needs but maybe it'd fit yours.

### 3/5 — Used to love this

*2016-07-29, version 3.0*

I used to love this app. Simple to use and very accurate. Since the update this month, the layout is messed up--the fonts are huge which screws up the display. I uninstalled this app and we installed it hoping that it would get fixed but alas it's still messed up.

### 4/5 — Would love the ability to refresh times

*2015-03-05, version 2.05*

Would be great if there was a refresh button or something to get updated times after you've been waiting

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — All Aboard

*2025-07-19, version 4.1*

This app is almost always accurate; it is By Far the most accurate of the many I have tried. Am

### 5/5 — It’s 2022

*2022-06-11, version 4.1*

…and I can’t believe I’m only the 15th review of this rockin’ app. I’ve used this almost daily for the last 6ish years and have never had to look at it in the App Store! HOW is this thing not bigger? If you live in Chicago and have a phone and use the bus (as all us REAL ones do), just download this and thank me later. It’s always accurate and doesn’t shove ads into your eyeballs! There’s honestly no downside so just click the thingy and get it.

### 5/5 — Best Chicago Bus App

*2019-08-01, version 4.1*

Simple, fast, easy

### 5/5 — Most accurate and simplest tracker

*2018-10-13, version 4.1*

### 5/5 — Super accurate

*2017-09-19, version 4.0*

I love this app. Works perfectly.

### 5/5 — really great for commuters

*2017-07-22, version 4.0*

I take the bus almost every weekday. There are so many apps that track arrival times but make it so difficult to get an answer.

This app is a commuters dream. One tap and I can find what I want - how many minutes do I have to freeze my bottom off.

👌👌👌

### 5/5 — Tried em all. This one is the best.

*2016-11-26, version 3.1*

I have tried so many apps to track the bus. They are so packed with useless features. This one is so simple and perfect for my daily commute into the loop. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
