I have to delete the app and then redownload just so u can but the latest issue. ### 4/5 — Excellent Mag *2017-03-17* Only one complaint, I have all my magazines downloaded onto my iPad. Following your recent update all my mags were deleted and I now have to download them again. This is no problem when I am at home, but I do a lot of travelling mostly without access to fast wifi. I am currently away and cannot read or download any of my mags. Annoying to say the least. But overall an excellent magazine. Ps. The front end you have now changed to is very poor, the old system was much better where I could actually see/read the front cover. ### 4/5 — Mostly happy *2016-10-27* I love history and love reading these magazines. With that being said, I hate the extra "special issues". I would prefer to pay a bit extra for the yearly subscription. As in other reviews, I do feel nickel and dimed and feel cheated. I am on a fixed income and it is not much so I cannot afford to purchase the extra, that's where the "cheated" come from. Bottom line, I enjoy the magazines. ### 3/5 — Disappointed *2016-08-20* The magazine is okay. I like the visuals and I think they do a nice job with the short history provided on their topics. I like more in depth analysis, but this is my personal preference. However, I really dislike how they have all these "special issues" that cost extra money. I would rather pay one price and get all issues than to feel like I am being "nickeled and dimed" on a magazine for which I have an annual subscription. For these reasons I decided not to renew my subscription and am looking into other history magazines. ### 5/5 — Brilliant magazine. Radiant on an ipad. *2016-01-06* This is one magazine that is a must have for any history buff. The names the events the places are all there. But what's even better is the HD resolution on an ipad. Worth buying this. Worth treasuring it. And definitely worth opening its full colour spreads to go for a gentle walk down the forest of the past. ### 2/5 — Does NOT include "special" issues of back issues *2015-05-20* I was disappointed to see that the subscription does not include access to any Special issues or the back issues. Those cost $3-$8 EACH. I wish I had know that before paying $33 for a year's subscription. ### 5/5 — Great magazines *2015-03-31* I love these magazines after a free trial I signed up for the yearly subscription and I really look forward to the new issue each month. I've tried plenty of history magazines but this is by far the best in my opinion, I love how easy it is to understand and covers such a vast array of topics. I love how each issue offers a breakdown of a person or a building so in February's issue they did a break down of working class homes in the Victorian era which offered an insightful look into how people lived and what their property was like. ### 5/5 — Great Magazine *2015-02-06* Very well done. BUT the app is glacial slow and constantly freezes. Not worth the frustration and that’s too bad. Everytime i open it today my screen gets covered by some Black Friday ad. So at <100Mb of data an issue I have to re-download all of them, which isn't very good if you have no wifi or have a monthly broadband download limit. The 'see all issues available' page has been messed up so that 3/4's of the page is now an advert for some other crappy magazine I'm not interested in, and the available issues are tiny..... The magazine content itself is ok, but the app that delivers that content is very poor.... ### 1/5 — Don't update *2017-03-14* The latest app is a shocker. Well this is the app for you! ### 1/5 — Not a Good Buy *2016-03-10* This publisher will nickel and dime you the whole way. Subscription covers current issues only. Past issues cost $3.99/each. Many publishers give you access to back issues while your subscription is active. Special issues cost $8.99. ### 1/5 — Wrong *2015-11-10* This app is a scam and should not be downloaded for any reason. I have many apps with in app purchases. Often I do buy them. But this app offers nothing but the chance to pay more. There is zero content here and it just is a cash register to get your money. For this reason I will not be able to trust anything they write since it's misleading from the start. Email to developer only responded to by auto response. Called to UK to talk to them and the developer offered zero help.
