### 4/5 — Efficient, Realistic, and Finally Sustainable

*2026-02-04*

I’m three weeks into going to the gym consistently with my 21-year-old son, who’s in school for an electrical apprenticeship, and All Out Studio by Gerren Liles has been an absolute godsend.

I’m grateful for my son and his motivation. I’ve had this app on my phone for years, used it a couple of times, but honestly hadn’t used it in years. I’m so glad it was still there.

The upper-body workouts with Gerren are exactly right for me—focused, efficient, and about 15 minutes long. I pair that with 45 minutes on the bike, and I’m done. One hour total. No wasted time. No overthinking.

That’s what I love most: I get a full workout done in an hour, and after just three weeks I genuinely feel better—stronger, more consistent, and motivated to keep going.

### 2/5 — Bare Bones

*2025-10-12, version 9.100.1*

If this were 2008, this would be a great app but this app lacks basics features. There is no progress or API to Strava or Garmin and there is no way to make multiple playlists. Many workouts but that’s about it.

### 2/5 — No access to support or connection to Runners World Plus account

*2024-01-02, version 8.321.1*

I bought Runners World Plus subscription that is supposed to give me access to this app but there’s no way to get help doing this. The app doesn’t recognize my RW account credentials and the only way to start watching videos is to subscribe. There’s no option for signing in with RW account or setting up an account without doing the trial and then start paying. BUT I figured it out! RW and All Out (A/O) really need to explain this. Use your email/username for RW. Enter whatever password because using RW one won’t work. Then do forgot password using same email/username you use for RW. The link will be sent. Set up new password for A/O and log back in with that one. So at end of day you’ll use your same username for RW and A/O but different passwords for each application.

After using the app I’ll update my rating.

### 4/5 — Great App for Fitness on the Road

*2023-10-09, version 8.321.1*

The app has short, effective workouts with minimal equipment. It travels well.

### 2/5 — Beginner Exercises

*2023-03-23, version 8.101.1*

This app is great for beginners. Very boring for the avid pro. Planet Fitness of workout libraries.

### 4/5 — Great for intermediate folks

*2022-03-08*

After years of being away from video workouts, I decided to give this series a try. I specifically wanted workouts for runners, and the individualized plans for different goals are nice. I’m reserving a star because I’m not sure how often often new workouts cycle in. The danger of any video workout is boredom, so we’ll see how long this app is relevant.

### 3/5 — Great selection but needs more details

*2021-11-21, version 7.205.1*

The variety and quality of the programs are great but it would be nice to have an idea of the equipment needed for each workout prior to starting as well as an idea of the weights being used. Additionally integration with Apple Health app would be great too. finally, a log of some sort to track your previous workouts, weights and reps wound be ideal.

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2021-09-02, version 7.001.1*

This is the best resource I have found. I’m 58 years old and been doing this a long time.

### 5/5 — Strength for Triathlon

*2021-08-04*

After over a year of low motivation due to the Covid situation I was ready to take charge again but my body was in no shape at all. I signed up for the 30 day challenge and loved it so much I am doing another round of it. The 20 minutes four times a week fits perfect in with my triathlon training and busy work and kids schedule. Videos are well made and the Coach is clear and explain very detailed the form and exercise motion. Highly recommend!

### 2/5 — Please

*2021-07-26*

Zero support. I emailed on their app to ask a question and never got an answer. The questiom was from what I read about a PDF for directions for the 30 day challenge and now it is gone from the app. Hmm, seems that they can take off the directions, but can not answer a customer's question... I tried the 30 day challenge. The instructor seemed nice enough, but she did not give any alternatives for those like me who could not do some of the exercises. She also wobbled on some of the exercises almost falling not holding onto something like she probably should have. I literally had to search online for 4 exercises for alternatives so I could complete the workout. Some of the exercises were great and I felt challenged doing them so this workout so far is not a complete miss. I hope the next videos for the 30 day challenge are better. I will watch the videos first and look up alternatives if I feel I am unable to complete them.

### 5/5 — Great workout program!

*2021-06-24, version 6.320.1*

Great variety of workouts, for all skill/ability levels!

### 4/5 — Great options for workouts!

*2021-05-28, version 6.320.1*

I was deciding to go for Beach body.com so I could work out at home, but my husband suggested All Out Studio. There was a range of programs that was my husband and I would like, with workouts and a plan, and even workouts for different types of bodies, genders, athletes. Honestly, I’ve had a great experience and have purchased a subscription for the year, and my only request is that they just update it with even more options every few months! I’m really enjoying the women’s programs for workouts since I’m a working mom I need to try to fit it in within 20-25 minutes when I can.

### 5/5 — Best fitness app

*2021-05-15, version 6.320.1*

I’ve been a fitness app user for the last 3 years, and ALL OUT STUDIO app has been by far the best training app. The excersices and coaches are great. The only BUT would BE that’s missing a stretch and meditation sections
I give a 10 star rating on excersices

### 5/5 — FANTASTIC!!

*2021-05-06, version 6.120.1*

My husband and I love this app so much. We use it every day. There is so much variety that it keeps our workouts interesting and exciting! Also love how most programs also include a monthly workout schedule to follow along. This app rocks!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Customer Service

*2024-11-20, version 8.801.1*

I have signed up for and paid for App and I am still unable to sign in. I have called and emailed numerous times. The link they send does not work

### 1/5 — Not possible to cancel

*2024-09-26, version 8.801.1*

When you try to unsubscribe from the app it tell you you must go to the web site. When you go to the website it tells you you must contact customer service. It provides a link which go to an email that comes back as undeliverable.

### 1/5 — Unable to access the app

*2024-02-01*

I belong to the men’s health MVP membership, which includes access to all out. Unfortunately, I’m completely unable to sign into the all out app as they will not send me a sign in link based on my email, which is the same email used for the men’s health MVP membership. Sent them multiple days of service requests emails with absolutely no response. Completely fed up and would like to cancel my MVP membership, but can’t seem to find anyone to respond on both this app and through men’s health. Be aware, you may have issues and have no access to any service to get it fixed.

### 1/5 — How to access with RW+ subscription??

*2023-05-22, version 8.101.1*

Runner’s World says it gives access to this app for subscribers but no directions are available for how to log in to access it with a RW+ subscription, just free trial and paid subscriptions. The help contact on the website doesn’t have any information either. Can you help?

### 1/5 — Runners World+ members only content not free as advertised

*2023-04-15, version 8.101.1*

Supposed to have some exercises free for Runners World+ members but the app forces you to pay.

### 1/5 — Horrible communication

*2021-08-19, version 7.001.1*

I have tried every which way to cancel this subscription via app and website. No way to do so. No way to contact anyone for support, just generic FAQ’s that take me right back to the same old instructions that don’t work. There is no contact email o lot chat that I can find. And it doesn’t recognize my email address to try to login on the website. Very vague!

### 1/5 — 30 Day Free Trial - HOAX

*2020-08-16, version 5.803.1*

Responded to a 30 day free trial offer by clicking the IOS download. Suddenly 30 days became 7 days. Repeated messages for customer service were futile.

### 1/5 — Help

*2020-08-06, version 5.803.1*

I have read the reviews and I am on the fence about purchasing this app!

### 1/5 — Unstable app, Lost account

*2020-06-28, version 5.801.1*

App updated or something and dropped my account. I have an active subscription that was paid for. It didn’t even recognize my email when I tried to log in. Reliability being near zero, I’m going to find software that works. Deleting subscription.

My wife couldn’t even make the app work with her account when she attempted the free trial week. Fool me twice...

### 1/5 — Billing Issues

*2019-12-30, version 1.4*

Just an FYI this app debits your account at the start of the free trial, but leaves the charge pending. But it does deduct from your available balance at least at my bank. Just be aware.

Also, I am unable to use the app as the app gives me an error when clicking on any workout. Asked me to subscribe even though they have charged me and restoring the purchase brings an error also. Buyer beware!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Super Helpful for Hard but Quick Workouts

*2025-07-15, version 9.100.1*

I love this! As a dad of 2 young girls with little time, these are great and really give me a good challenge. Awesome workouts that get the heart pumping and the muscles working.

### 5/5 — LOVE THIS APP

*2025-01-01*

I’ve always enjoyed a wide range of exercise: aeorobics (80s), running, tennis, weight-lifting, yoga, stairs, swimming... the stuff that is now called cross-training and functional fitness.

I love this app because of the variety of exercises, fitness styles, and diversity of the coaches. There is something for every day of the week and for lots of different users. That’s why I’ve recommended this app to so many friends.

Even when I’m not being as consistent an exerciser as I’d like, I log in to the app and find something that fits the ticket.

### 5/5 — Why go to the gym

*2024-10-24, version 8.801.1*

It is so great that I can work out at home. These workouts are fun, efficient and effective. Thanks.

### 5/5 — The superhero shred program is great

*2024-05-20*

I do this workout a couple times a year as a supplement my normal workout routine. Great for shoulder stability and overall strength. Comes in handy when in the road as well as the workouts are only 30 minutes and can be done anywhere with the equipment on hand.

### 5/5 — Awesome!

*2023-12-27, version 8.321.1*

Awesome workouts! Something for all levels

### 5/5 — Great content and affordable platform!

*2023-05-15, version 8.101.1*

I have really enjoyed this app for the last six months and look forward seeing what additional content is out there now that I have a base of strength, increased mobility, and fitness overall. A great variety of workouts and instructors.

### 5/5 — Perfect

*2023-04-30, version 8.101.1*

Great workouts, well worth having

### 5/5 — Useful

*2022-10-02, version 7.620.1*

Love the variety of strength workouts that I can easily incorporate into my race training schedule. They can be completed in little time with minimal to no equipment and I can do them right from my phone. Also love the yoga workouts for recovery.

### 5/5 — Easier to use

*2022-02-01, version 7.205.1*

Many fitness app are computer programs that tell you what exercises to do. This app is full of full videos with professional coach helping you through it.

### 5/5 — Love the app

*2021-10-10*

This app has allowed me to have the “gym” at home during the pandemic. I am also a person who would rather exercise at home (which I do 5-7 days/week), because I don’t have to go anywhere but my living room to do so! I like the variety of sources from which the workouts come, love that I have low impact choices, the fact that varied experts are crafting these programs, and the workout guides that accompany them are extremely helpful. Some workout guides have tons of info and are a great bonus. New choices are added, not with great frequency, but enough to assist someone in changing things up. My adult son recently praised me saying that I was in the best shape he’s ever seen me in making me really grateful I made this choice! I would recommend this app and have to quite a few people who have asked what I am doing to improve my health and physical shape.
