It is so disappointing that so many doors are still locked so pretty sure it’s all it’s ever going to be. This could be such an amazing game with endless possibilities for expansions! ### 4/5 — Waiting for updates! *2023-01-26, version 1.4* Great game! Would like to finish playing when it is finished. I can’t complete the last part of the game because the game glitched in the 2nd staff room and the tool card disappeared. Fun, but first time I got burned by leaving the park. Can’t go back to explore. So, played again, got enough to leave again, but I want to find other achievements . Secret ones listed on the achieve page. Emailed developer, says to go on Discord groups. Garbage life. Just give some hints or charge for them! YouTube vids are no help. Only for beginners. Dumb imho. ### 5/5 — Could this be the greatest escape game ever? *2021-11-04, version 1.4* I have been addicted to puzzle and escape games for a year or so now, I must have tried hundreds in that time. Before this I don’t think I had ever completed a game in my life. The obvious ones that most people love are the original room games, I have completed all 4 of them at least 2 or 3 times and love them, as do I love House of Da Vinci and all of the Enchanted games, though completely different still highly addictive . I saw this game a couple of days ago and downloaded it immediately after seeing the great reviews. I will be honest it did take a couple of hours to get used to it, seemed a bit busy at first. I couldn’t understand the tool cards but these are basically like an inventory, also the check points and information points but once the penny dropped I was hooked. You need patience and an eye for detail but please trust me this game is worth every single penny and I hope the developers are planning more like this or maybe a follow up? I haven’t finished it yet it is a big game in my opinion but just so hard to put down, that is why I am writing this review to stop me playing it. Try to not get lost in the mine, and the phone box can only be used once to go to the attic and back to the mine. This really is different to anything else and there is so much to it for just £5, this could be the bargain of the year don’t hesitate download it but don’t make any plans for a couple of days...... I enjoyed the scenes although some were a bit dark and didn’t show up very well. Even after I activated all four machines to get the cards needed to escape, I looked around at more areas. I didn’t get to every area but that’s okay. The only thing I didn’t like were the hints. I only saw numbers supposedly pointing off in some direction. They were pretty useless. It’s room escape, point & click, puzzle adventure. It’s got a story, it’s innovative and it’s a cut above so much of the trash on the app store. So glad I stumbled on this game, I enjoyed every second of it. No in app purchases, no hints for ads or any of that. Great graphics. Great atmosphere, and it’s massive. As other reviewers stated, game freezes while in second staff room in sewers while you open the chest in the staff room. Devs, please fix this. And then please make a part 2. it’s a lovely game. ### 5/5 — Outstanding Game *2020-12-24, version 1.4* Very smooth intuitive but challenging design. Love the hint system. (It is not what you originally anticipate!) You don’t feel like you are cheating because you are not getting any plot or solution hints. (I suspect you would find more location cards in the black wall boxes if one had not already found the keys??) Due to me walking past a card machine for most of the later half of the game I ended up finding the treasure room last! Game should have been designed to hide this card better as it was actually rewarding to enter the treasure room last! Love the mailed card! Transporter phone booths weird... sort of did not fit in with retro theme. Thought it was an episode of Dr. Who... lol. Only glitch was it took a lot of tries to get employee pass to unlock sewer staff room - however I may have missed some subtle way of activating/using the cards. Finally got it to work. Hope author is working on big sequel! Again, well done. ### 5/5 — A good concept well executed *2020-12-04, version 1.4* The theme-park/escape room idea played out well. Side quests, extras and main puzzles were hard but not so much so I tried to find a walkthru. Every nook and cranny is filled with puzzles and secrets. I really enjoyed the open feel of exploring this city. This really needs to be a vr game, because it is very exploration-based. Great job! ### 2/5 — Glitched *2020-11-01, version 1.4* I absolutely love these genre of games. It looks beautiful and I was excited to play the game. The first time I played I got stuck at opening the library. The game is not really a free roaming game. The library is locked from both sides and will not let me enter, even though I have a tool card. I tried and tried.... I uninstalled it and try to play again..... it froze up on the first key you find. It let me take the key but it will not let me back out of that scene. I unloaded it again and tried again, the same thing happened. I’m really disappointed,I was looking forward to playing this game. Second try..... Got as far as the bus and even though I have the bus card it will not let me in. So it’s bugs have not been fixed and don't look like they will be. I am playing on the last east iPad with lots of memory so it’s not that my system is old or slow. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Stuck in Chester Wilcox’s house *2024-12-19, version 1.4* I have been stuck in the Wilcox house for weeks. No way out. Keeps telling me to use a tool card to open the upstairs bedroom but none work. I was really getting into the game but now I just want to quit. Took some getting used to the game play but overall a four start game. But with this Wilcox bug that I now see from another review has been known I feel cheated. Like another reviewer, my card for the library doesn’t function. I love the concept of this game, but unfortunately, after trying four times to get through the game, I still haven’t finished! I deleted and download the game several times, hoping it would work. Each time I got stuck in Chester Wilcox’s house, and couldn’t find a way out. The game kept telling me that I had the right card to get to the third-floor, but as I tried each card I had, it didn’t work. This is happened four times! Guess I’m gonna give up. I only played it for maybe 20 minutes before I lost TOTAL interest, and I am a VERY patient person. The library card doesn’t open the library. AppUnwrapper has a different version that is easier than the version I downloaded, so I can’t even use the walkthrough. The instructions about what to do next make sense, but it is utterly unclear how to do these things. Too aggravating. Gave up after an hour of not getting anywhere significant. Reloaded. Still stuck. It keeps telling me to choose the tool card to open library, but neither card works. Cant get anywhere. Maybe not updated for latest iOS? ### 1/5 — Very frustrating technical issue *2020-04-26, version 1.4* I have really enjoyed playing this game until now, however I used a certain in-game function and my game crashed. Now when I re-open the game the start screen only offers the option of ‘Start’ instead of ‘Continue’ and if I tap that the game freezes and I have to force shutdown. I have tried re-starting my pad to no avail. Don’t bother *2019-10-20, version 1.1* Purchased, installed, played a few minutes, game crashed and will not start. Contacted the developer via their website, but received no reply. Utter rubbish. I want a refund. ***Update: Developer response stated that the gamed doesn’t play on my device. At time of purchase (and still now) it is advertised as “works on this iPad” and “compatible with iPad Air2”. As the game is unplayable and purchased on false information, I definitely want my money back! Still waiting for that... ### 1/5 — Completely Crashed *2019-10-03, version 1.1* It's a beautiful game, but it crashes each time I enter a new area (such as entering the library or bus area). I'm on an iphone 6 using ios version 12.4 (edited). I'd be very happy to rewrite my review once it gets resolved! A little while later: Now it's completely crashed. It has no resume option anymore and won't launch when I click start. ### 1/5 — App glitches and shuts down *2019-06-10, version 1.1* Even after your last update the game will only let me play to the red truck part then it just turns off. Please fix! It’s one of the very few games that let me explore the world freely. I’m still hoping for an update but I still love it. I haven’t encountered any glitches or bugs in all of the years that I’ve played it and it’s very well done. I also enjoyed having tasks to complete! This game was not like The Room Series where you solve complex puzzles. This was more like a maze where you search for resources and keep track of where you are and where you need to go. For that, I enjoyed it very much. Cool graphics too! I hope you make another game!! ### 5/5 — One of my favorites to come back to *2025-04-26, version 1.4* I have played this many times through, and I just really enjoy being in the space of this game. It takes place in an abandoned theme park on a moonlit night and you wander wherever you can go, collecting items and achievements and completing goals. I find it strangely relaxing. I can see it has been a while since an update, but my dream is that the creator would expand the game even more using some of the spare doors. It is a very soothing weird atmosphere to be in, and the game is wonderfully complex and visually compelling. ### 5/5 — This game is a masterpiece *2024-06-30, version 1.4* I am hoping for a sequel so much. It’s in league with The Room series, Eyes of Ara, and the DaVinci games but from a small independent developer. Such an interesting world to walk around and explore.
