It’s 2025! *2026-03-07, version 11.5.3* I am a visually impaired user of my chart, and I have to say this is the least user-friendly application I have come across. My chart and other organizations has been accessible and user-friendly, but this one is not! if I ever if I needed to find something quickly, my chart is not what I would use! I have attempted to ask that this site be made accessible, and my request falls on deaf ears! T ### 2/5 — I’m constantly getting locked out *2025-07-02, version 11.4.0* This app is extremely frustrating. It’s not user friendly. I just want to make an appointment with my regular doctor or doctors on my care team, and I can’t find them easily or at all if they’re not part of ALLINA. The other problem is that I get locked out and can’t even access it. My app is connected to saved passwords and automatically connects when it sees my face. When I try to log in, it takes me to a page asking if I want a code sent via text or email to verify myself, but a circle just spins indefinitely, and I can’t even choose an option to get a code! I keep getting emails saying my bill is due, but I can’t even log in to pay it. Now, I can’t even pass through the login page. It keeps spinning forever! At this point it’s just wasting space on my phone! Let’s hope the devs fix this. ### 1/5 — Incompatible with MacBook *2024-11-13* I used to be able to have this app on my MacBook not even a month ago and then they recently took it off and is not compatible now. Other than that it is an okay app, they keep updating it and taking things off though, and making it more difficult to use. ### 2/5 — Terrible. *2024-10-18, version 10.0.2* I’ve had mostly good experiences and care from Allina but this app started bloody terrible and it’s not improved over several years. It never improves or if it does it’s incremental and then gets worse somehow. Big issues just scheduling with doctors I’ve seen before, and the module for seeing someone new is an even worse nightmare. Here’s a case where just an old fashion call beats what’s being offered here. Wonder how many hundreds of thousands of dollars Allina is spending to keep this garbage tech afloat? Pretty sad. It is 2024 guys. It is going to be 2025 in a short time and this? This is what you’re offering your patients? We live in the future, dummies catch up. It’s all enough to start shopping for a whole new set of clinics and hospitals. ### 2/5 — Ruins my virtual appmts *2024-10-01, version 10.0.2* I only get 45 minutes for my appointment and mychart app glitches steal away 5-15 minutes routinely. This app must have quite being used or not functioning anymore because it wasn’t supported anymore. Would have been nice to know that. My phone can’t get 18.0 version. It doesn't give me an option to change that anywhere. I can't find providers who I know for a fact are in the system. This is crazy. ### 1/5 — Useless *2025-11-21, version 11.5.2* I want to make an appointment with my primary care provider. So I tap on “make an appointment with a provider you’ve seen before”. I am prompted to choose what I need to be seen for. The options are all highly specialized things like dermatology and lab appointments. There is no option for a basic office visit. I have only been seen by one provider before and she doesn’t even offer these options. So I go to try making an appointment with a provider I haven’t seen before. Here, primary care is an option. I tap on it. I am prompted with an insanely long list of available providers, and somehow, STILL, my doctor is not on this list. This app is clunky at best and disorienting at worst. There are 1500 menu options with no clear explanation as to what they actually do. I can’t find the information I need, and I certainly can’t set up a simple generic doctor visit. It has been like this for years and they clearly have no intention of ever fixing it. Genuinely thinking of finding a new healthcare group to move to because it should not be this difficult just to set up a basic appointment. ### 1/5 — We aren’t clinicians *2025-09-06, version 11.4.1* None of the nested sections make sense to non clinicians. Just a hodge podge of menus with random info. ### 1/5 — Known issue they refused to fix *2025-08-12, version 11.4.1* I actually did not mind this app when my account was working. However, for some reason, my account login page says “something went wrong “. When I called the provided technical support number (in the app), the IT department was very unconcerned about the situation. The representative said they were aware of the problem, that it had been going on for months, and that a ticket had been submitted with their developer. However, they could not provide a time frame for a fix. This lack of concern is frustrating, and it suggests a failure to care for patients.
