YearlyWoodall’s was the Bible. Consistent objective reviews. Now anything goes. The new developer has asked continuously for people like me to upgrade. Because we haven’t upgraded, now they have started to delete features that we previously used. This app used to be my go-to tool for finding campsites, but recently, something changed. Now, the descriptions are sparse, and on some, the website link goes nowhere or to the wrong state. Auch, nachdem der Support zugesichert hat, einen aus der Empfängerliste zu entfernen. ### 1/5 — What happened?? *2026-06-02, version 9.1* When I opened the app everything I needed was right there, campgrounds, truck stops, rest areas, Walmarts, Cracker Barrel’s, now nothing shows up when I open the app. I’ve tried to set filters but still nothing shows up. Very very bad plan to change this app so radically. If it does not improve over the next few weeks you will lose me as a customer. ### 4/5 — Recent Update *2026-06-01, version 9.1* Updated of Review! AllStays has updated their App. You select region, State and campground type and should see cities to select your desired campground. Bring the old one back. Would not recommend this new format to anyone ### 1/5 — Update *2026-05-27, version 9.0* You just had to go and screw up this app! Update is definitely confusing and not as good as the old version ### 3/5 — Long time user *2026-05-27, version 9.0* I first started using this app when it was free. I no longer need it on regular basis (was traveling by RV). This app no longer updates distance in real time. I have to close the app and then reopen to get current distance. Very frustrating. ### 1/5 — Refund scam *2026-05-24, version 9.0* Used the trial subscription and it was ok, but when I missed to cancel the trial due to not having service, they charged me for a $53 for full year and then refused to provide a refund. Very unpleased ### 4/5 — Solid app, decent database, but updating POIs in database cumbersome. *2026-05-23, version 9.0* Downloaded most recent version. I’m not sure I noticed this in the past, but updates to incorrect POIs only occurs through email and when clicking the link it takes you to the Apple Mail app. I do not use the Apple mail app, so I can’t send in a correction on the phone. There has to be a better way to collect POI updates. ### 4/5 — Go To Campsite App *2026-05-23, version 9.0* Still working on……..navigation. But, for identifying campgrounds along my routes and nailing one down for the end of each travel day AllStays is my go to app! ### 2/5 — Not up to date *2026-05-14, version 8.2* I like the Allstays app. Most camp spots are still open and close to descriptions. I find it annoying that the reviews are way out of date most of the time. Most are from 4-10+ years ago. Going to checkout more camping apps. ### 1/5 — Subscription required *2026-05-11* This app used to have a fair one-time purchase fee. I paid this at the time and found the app useful and well designed. The change to a subscription-based model is unacceptable and despite my purchase seemingly giving me grandfathered access, I will uninstall the app and never use it again. I will advise others to do the same. What a terrible business decision. Update: developer response to my review changes nothing. The app does not provide enough information that isn’t available via a web search to warrant a monthly fee. 1 star review remains accurate **Developer response:** At the time the App was released, almost all members had website subscriptions and paid a fee to add the App. As usage patterns changed to primarily App only, the subscriptions were combined. For assistance with your App access, please press the Email Support Team button under the hamburger menu (top left) or email apps@allstays.com ### 1/5 — Charged me when I canceled *2026-05-11, version 8.1* I received a charge to renew. I canceled this months ago but still was charged. The instructions tell me to go to settings to see my subscription. I did that and there is no subscription listed. Which is why I thought the cancellation went through. If you subscribe be careful about renewals. ### 1/5 — Bad business *2026-05-10, version 8.2* Purchased lifetime subscription years ago. Apparently it has modified to the lifetime of my device, not me. I don’t need for you to track me ir send me advertisements. I just need to be able to find places to camp. I tried using this app on a trip from Idaho to Maine. I gave up in South Dakota. Every listing was wrong. The filters are useful, the data is exhaustive, and response time is robust under all circumstances. I’ve experimented with RV Trip Wizard and RV Parky; All Stays is the app I come back to. The recent integration with Apple CarPlay is amazing! What a game changer! ### 5/5 — Great app with desktop version as well *2025-12-05* We really love this app. It has all the main features needed for finding campsites and everything in between. The desktop version makes it easier to see and plan. Their filter are great and can also favorite places. The campsite reviews are all users of course, which is a huge help. My only issue is that the search engine doesn’t typically find specific site names that I type in, even though I can find it on their map. Not a big deal for me but just wanted ti mention. Also, submitting campsite ratings in App can be problematic with the Captcha feature. I highly recommend this app. And it is priced right especially with discounts. **Developer response:** Thank you for your kind review! Search has had a lot of improvement this year, but as you have noted there is still room for more improvement. This is something the team is continuing to build on. Not enough people leave reviews for location campsites but over a great app! I like the easy to see by different markers, showing if a Cracker Barrel, County Park, COE, State Park…even dump stations and propane locations. Love that pictures of actual sites are usually available. ### 5/5 — Great for Big Rig RVs - Less cumbersome than most travel apps *2025-06-08* Very easy to use. Perfect app for finding RV resorts, parks, gas stations, rest stops - everything you need for travelling across the country. Useful drop-down filter to find Military campgrounds, KOAs, Independant, Elk Club, and etc. Also for filtering bridge heights, specific fuel stops, overnight places and more. You can use the hybrid Map/Sat for arial view of places before you pick a place to stop. Easy to add reviews. We use AllStays and Garmin for all our planning and prefer the simple ease of Allstays to some of the fancier, more complicated apps. Distances are as the crow flies, but useful for guestimating travel time. Traffic map isn’t as acurate as Waze. AllStays is constantly improving, and takes your input seriously. ### 5/5 — One of the Best *2025-05-28, version 6.36* We have used this app forever! It is fabulous! When they changed the fee they grandfathered in all of the early users so there was no additional charge.
