BUT !!! When i applied foe the credit card they gave me a huge credit line..! And thats where all my problems started! They tried merging my 2 accounts together which thats not what i wanted! But they forced it on me! Had conflicting log ons and right before my due date they shut me out! The loan customer service ! Which from India straight out told me they couldnt help me! Due to conflicting accounts so i closed my credit card which they did not care! So i didnt! But the credit card company tried their best to keep me but i was all ready over it! Fawk this company ..! Hopefully you dont have to deal with this drama!!! ### 1/5 — Monthly Run-Around *2024-06-28* It takes major frustration for me to write a bad review, but this is a monthly occurrence and it’s become infuriating. I also posted this review for the other Ally App. I use the Ally app or website every month to make our car payment. Every month, it says my log-in information is invalid, so I have to reset the password. It usually takes at least three attempts before that works. I’ve even tried to do it on three different devices. This time, it locked me out. As a last, last resort - because calling any company’s customer service team is a waste of time - I called Ally CS and got a temporary password. Got the “invalid” message after typing in THAT one. I called the customer service line again, and was finally able to complete a payment. It took 90 minutes to submit one payment, and by that time, the cut-off time had passed. It’s Friday, so the payment is scheduled for Monday, the day after the due date. We have never been late with a car payment, and this isn’t even our fault. There’s no excuse for this. Fix your stuff, Ally. ### 5/5 — ally auto monthly payments *2024-04-29* I, like all of you, hate submitting a car payment every month. however, this is my first year making a monthly payment on a car and Ally Auto makes it very very easy. I’m not someone who is good with technology by any means but the process is very simple. you log in, it shows you all the cars listed under your name and when the payments are due. it also shows you how much left you have to pay until the car is paid off. you can link it directly to your checking OR savings account so you don’t have to add any card information, log in yourself every month to pay it, or set up an instant payment! i usually have a very hard time adapting to a new system/app and figuring out how to use it, but after the first time on ally auto i was set! i recommend! ### 3/5 — Good app needs work still not acknowledged/fixed *2024-04-18* Change was made on my account and i am locked out of this app, im thinking its due to switching to "ally" and "ally auto". Been having this ongoing issue for the 2 years ive been with ally auto that support cannot be reached, messages disappear, delete or are completely out of order between the last message and the first message sent 2 years ago. Reached out has never been fixed(in app messages, there is no external email support)is on my mobile, happens on my desktop also "We can't complete your request right now. Try again later, or contact us for help." this gives a link and puts through a looped doing the same thing, leaving my only option to sit on the phone and wait for assistance, (obviously requires to do on open and available hours rather than the messages that they can get back to whenever).The app interface is generally pretty good and easy to maneuver but it is down every time i try to use it making that irrelevant. Support is a HUGE thing that needs to be maintained properly. ### 1/5 — Worst Company Ever *2024-04-13* This company is one of the hardest to be able to reach anyone in customer service. I had my truck loan set up on auto draft but it failed twice for unknown reasons and they could not explain why and would not allow me to make online payments for months. The website and the app are as user friendly as whip cream thrown in a fan. It might work one month and not the next couple of months. There seems to be a different physical location with different customer service numbers for each and every question you need answered. Once I am able to move this account I will be tickled to death….even if the interest rate is much higher! ### 1/5 — Bad banking organization *2024-04-10* This is the worst banking experience I have ever endured. I had way too much trouble and now had to spend double of what I intended to this April. I was not aware my payment didn’t go through due to there being the obvious amount on account for the payment. The App said “completed” and days after it still said completed. It wasn’t until April 9th when they charged me a late fee for March, when it was not my fault. My payment for this month now has doubled because of this mistake. I can not afford this and this mistake was a set back for me. I thought banking through this app would make it easier but it does not at all. I do not recommend this bank for others. I am very upset and disappointed I trusted another bank with my money. ### 3/5 — App works well. Wish there was added features *2024-04-06* I use the app to pay my loan end of story. I also have a car that has a loan thru capital one. Which capital one has a feature that I keep checking for on ally but you haven’t gotten on the bandwagon just yet so maybe (fingers crossed) someone will actually read this. With my other car loan I was able to set up automatic payments each week. So my car loan is paid a little bit each week and I honestly don’t even miss the money going out on payday and my car loan is just paid. Saves me money in the long run on interest and helps relieve the pressure of the monthly payment hit. ### 1/5 — Why the move? *2024-02-25* I've been using Ally Auto app for making payments on my car for a few years. The login wasn't easy, every now and then they kick you out make you re-sign in fully. Re-answer all your security questions for no reason then says it's under maintenance as soon as you did all that work. Now after this new update, I have to get a whole nother app to be able to make the car payment I was already using the app for that. Now I got to do the whole process all over again, great just great. I'm done using yall. Didn't sent any ucking codes. I'll do everything in my power to refinance with another bank. Never missed a payment until y'all changed the ucking apps. ### 3/5 — Could use work *2024-02-21* Whenever i go on the app my chats/email are unavailable or dont load at at, the interface is pretty well setup easy to understand and maneuver, CHATS ARE NOT SAVING, which is incredibly irritating when i need to get information from previous text not even an HOUR ago they all disappear(not supposed to to my knowledge) then ill have random messages from different past conversations in different orders. Creating a chat system like"Discover" through imessage would be incredibly helpful. Alerts to messages works great did have an issue with them not working but that was resolved through support.
