## What is ALM QoT?

The pace of business is driving IT towards unprecedented speed and expectations, especially with respect to the delivery of the software required to support core initiatives. The physical and virtual worlds are becoming closer together, as more and more objects become connected to the internet, enhancing the end-user experience and providing greater insight into the decisions that support the modern business.

With the emerging industries of IOT, Micro Focus Application Lifecycle Management is raising the bar again, by providing a whole new way to manage quality: Quality Of Things (QoT), a new test execution client, and apart of the Micro Focus ALM product.

With ALM QoT you can:

•Run Manual Tests online while connected to ALM or download tests for an offline execution

•Run Manual Tests offline on environments where network connectivity is limited and upload results when reconnected

• Report Defects - Online or Offline - During tests run you can now report defects into ALM!

•Experience an intuitive and simple user interface

•Run tests on iOS mobile devices without the need to download the ALM client

- Support connection to ALM 24.1.
 - Bypass the enforce run order in suite run limitation introduced in 23.4.

### 2.8 — 2022-06-23

This release introduces the following updates:
1. Set the test set condition for when test instances can be run and downloaded.
2. Download test sets in the current folder and all sub-folders.
3. In test run Details view, you can view all system and custom fields of test steps.
4. Bug fixes.

### 2.5 — 2021-04-02

1. More QoT rules were added.
2. You can select a value from a tree view for cycle and release fields.
3. Click a test instance name from the test instance list, and you can view the test instance details including its attachments.
4. Display QoT test step executor username in ALM 15.5.1.
5. Support for ALM 15.5.1 (both non-SSO and SSO mode). 
6. Support for iOS 14.

Allow admins to set rules for all users to control what they can do under certain conditions.
Link defects to test steps.
Support for ALM 15.5 (both non-SSO and SSO mode).
Support for Windows tablets.
Support login with client certificates in iOS systems.
