My flight with Air India Express was cancelled due to the Middle East situation. I contacted the airline, and they confirmed that the full refund has already been processed to Almatar (the booking agent). However, Almatar has not returned my money to me. I have tried contacting customer support multiple times, but I keep getting no clear response or solution. This is extremely frustrating because the airline has already done their part, and now Almatar is holding my refund without justification. This kind of service is unacceptable. Customers should not have to chase their own money after a cancellation that was not their fault. I strongly urge Almatar to process my refund immediately. Otherwise, I will be forced to escalate this matter to consumer protection authorities. I booked a flight from Madinah to Multan through Almatar with Air Arabia. The flight was cancelled due to the conflict between Iran and Israel. It has now been more than one week since the cancellation, but I have still not received my refund. I contacted customer support several times, but there has been no proper response and no clear update about my refund. Keeping customers’ money without resolving the issue is completely unacceptable. If my refund is not processed immediately, I will be forced to file a formal complaint with the consumer protection authorities and take this matter to the customer court. I trusted Almatar when booking my ticket, but this experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing.
