### 4/5 — Simple and fun

*2023-07-02, version 2.8*

Hard to find simple word games - this one is good!

### 4/5 — words..

*2021-12-21*

I like the word game, it keeps you thinking and you can be surprised by how many words come to mind!

### 4/5 — Great game

*2020-11-08*

Fun. I’d like to see a scoring system so I can challenge myself to beat past scores. I’d also like to see more than one shuffle option.

### 4/5 — Great game buuuuut....

*2019-11-11*

This is a great game to expand your mind; however, I see that I am inputting words that are not being captured and when the game concludes and I am provided with remaining words, I see words that I have entered.

I see an area for growth.

### 4/5 — Great app

*2018-09-07, version 2.7*

Highly addictive. Just wish it didn’t include 2 letter words.

### 4/5 — Now 1 of my fav go-to games

*2018-08-04*

I just wish they'd do away w/2 & 3 letter words (@ least 4 or > letters in the words) & rid the database of obscure words. There was 1 word the other day that ended in a "Q" w/o a "U", but Latté (as in a VERY commonly used coffee drink) is NOT a word !!??! Perhaps there's a way to customize how many letters you want to limit in your game (like NO 2 or 3 letter words) in "Preferences" for the your next update 🙏🏼(PLEASE!!)! 🙏🏼. Otherwise great game, challenging & easy interface 👍

### 4/5 — No sex?

*2018-04-14, version 2.7*

Why are words like “ass” and “sex” not words? I can list more, but I think you have the idea. These are not slang, not “dirty” or crude, not abbreviations or capitalized. It’s not fun to play a game when real words are not allowed, but obscure words that no one knows are! Please fix this problem. Otherwise, I like the game a lot. (I agree about adding an active word count in the timed mode.)

### 4/5 — How can I change the time limit?

*2017-10-08*

On one device it’s too long, on another device it’s fine. Can I set a time?

**Developer response:** The option to play without a timer is there, however, you cannot set your own time limit in a timed game in the current version.

### 3/5 — Disappointing

*2016-05-15, version 1.4*

I love word games and anagrams but prefer stricter rules, e.g. No 2-letter words.

### 5/5 — Good for your brain

*2016-03-27, version 1.4*

I grew up playing a similar game - but this one really lets you enters every last word, even some acronyms, slang, and foreign languages. Challenging and satisfying!

### 3/5 — Basic but good

*2016-03-21, version 1.4*

A good anagram game is surprisingly hard to find. I like this one, it's basic, but there's no gimmicks, and I'm not restricted to finding five three letter words, like so many kids' anagram games.
There are however two improvements I'd love to see. Firstly, the ability to save my game. At the moment, as soon as I leave the game, it's gone. It's annoying for a completist like me. Secondly, I'd like to be able to shuffle the source word. This would be a great help in thinking of new words and keeping track of my current train of thought.

### 1/5 — Rubbish,

*2024-04-18, version 2.8*

Thur 18 April 2024

Tried this but it’s rubbish.

I don’t know what type of dictionary they used but “knob” was met with;

“Word does not exist.”

Deleted. Don’t waste your time with this.

### 1/5 — what did you do???

*2017-06-21, version 2.1*

why the changes??? i don't like them at all!

you ruined a game i loved and played every day!!

### 2/5 — What the heck

*2019-06-22*

Excuse me and I’m not trying to be mean here I am a little annoyed with this puzzle games i’ve been looking for puzzle games that is accessible I am visually impaired so I found this game and it interested me but when I clicked on it and it downloaded all I heard was possible text welcome back and then when I tried to move on it wouldn’t let me it just kept saying the same thing and would not let me move on so please fix it to where is voiceover accessible or make it so where we can turn a setting on or something please thank you

### 2/5 — Mostly non words?

*2018-01-14*

A lot of the ‘words’ are not. Maybe they’re foreign? Abbreviations? Names?? Unfortunately the app does not provide definitions so one can only wonder......

### 2/5 — Meh

*2017-09-12*

Quite boring.
You guys can do a lot better.
Has potential...

**Developer response:** I'd love to hear any ideas you may have on how to improve it. Most new features are added based on user feedback.

### 2/5 — Almost Anagrams

*2014-04-23, version 1.0*

Would be enjoyable, but for perfectly good ENGLISH words being refused, and nonsensical NON-WORDS listed as having been missed!

### 3/5 — Exclusions and inclusions don’t make sense

*2022-03-31*

I wonder who developed this game. It doesn’t seem like it isReally based in the English language. The game excepts words like Raja and Rani (Asian Indian terms) and negroid but not negro.I’ve been counted a lot of words that it should have accepted and a lot of words that I am surprised were accepted.
ILike this game in concept. I used to play it on paper and thought itWould be convenient to play on my phone. I find it clunky and arbitrary. There’s no payoff when you find all the words or the longest word. It has no bells and whistle’s and no” kudos”.

### 3/5 — Good game, but…

*2021-06-08*

I don’t understand why perfectly innocent words, like certain body parts, are not acceptable, but a pejorative like “yid” is.

Otherwise, fun game.

### 3/5 — Fun, but...

*2020-01-15*

Needs to show how many words I made & the total possible words while playing. I like that I can pick a new word. I never play until I have a word that can be used to create less than 20 to 30 new words.

Wish it would play in landscape mode on devices. Perhaps Corona doesn't support this.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the review! I appreciate the feedback, but I believe the application already has the features you are asking for (I apologize if I'm mistaken about this):

1. If you would like to see how many words are possible and how many you've made, then you can choose to have no time limit from the word selection screen. In the no time limit mode it shows how many words you've made and how many are possible.

2. It does support landscape mode if you rotate the device. If it is not converting to landscape mode when you do this, you may want to make sure your device rotation is not locked to portrait.

### 3/5 — Simple, addictive, small changes would improve

*2017-10-22*

Two things would make this game much better.
1- I would like to see how many words e.g., 50/67, I’ve found during timed mode.
2- Maybe even more important- find some way to eliminate the obscure, gibberish words. If their really is an audience who just loves to spell things like edh, provide a “Common Words” mode for normal humans. Otherwise players never get to feel that sense of completing/winning unless they only play words with 9 possible words.
3- Some sort of leaderboards - or at least “social comparison” that tells me how good I am compared to others.

Thanks

### 5/5 — Dennis S

*2024-04-13*

Finally! I found a game that has only one word and lets you make as many words as you can without limits or fuss. I would like to see the game have a back space button so I could clear a letter without clearing the entire letters I entered. I told my sister who downloaded the app and loves it! Thanks!

### 5/5 — Well……

*2021-12-08*

5 stars is the only way to get my comment in.
If i could find all those worlds in the dictionary, I will love it.

### 5/5 — No Hype

*2020-08-06*

Nice, basic anagrams game without the obnoxious hype you have to endure with most game apps.

Please consider displaying the percentage of words found in addition to the number of words. This way we could know if we are improving without taking time to do the math between rounds.

### 5/5 — So Much Fun

*2020-06-25*

If you love working with words. This is your game. Excellent.

### 5/5 — Interesting! Try Game!

*2020-06-11*

If you like to make words from one word, this game is fun, different and interesting! You are allowed to use two-letter words!!! Also a plus, while playing, there are no ad interruptions!!!

I would ask developer(s) to charge less to purchase “unlimited hints” since there is a separate fee to remove “banner ads.” I am not trying to complain since I have seen other developers charge higher fees and charge for multiple ad removals!!

Game deserves 5-Stars because ease of using, it is challenging, nice backgrounds, no ad interruptions, and just overall enjoyable game to find words from a word!!!

### 5/5 — One of the best...

*2018-12-20*

Anagram games I’ve had so far. Accidentally deleted my old favorite and was looking for one that was comparable this is the only one that comes close.
My only real gripe is as you scroll through the list of words for one to play, if you’re going too fast there is no back arrow, now that would be helpful.

### 5/5 — Daughter of Sovereign

*2017-12-17*

This game is mentally stimulating.

### 5/5 — Great quick fun

*2017-10-11*

Really nice challenge at an airport or on downtime. Very easy to use and easy on the eye.

### 5/5 — Almost anagrams

*2017-07-25, version 2.4*

I love this game and it is educational

### 5/5 — Simply anagrams -- just right

*2017-06-26*

Whole new user interface that addresses most of the concerns I raised in my initial review (below). Fortunately, while the colorful new design may take some getting used to for long-time users, it does not change what makes the game enjoyable. It's a simple anagram game. Find all the words you can, timed or not. It loads fast, is easy to navigate and fun to play, and is worth the download. And I, for one, like the new design.

Original review:
It's all I wanted. To make it better, there are some user interface recommendations I could make: some sort of visual reward when you find all the possible words; an easier way to get a different word than going back to the home screen; a way to see which words you have already found (not just the last handful); a way to play the game in portrait mode; and several others. But if all you want is to make anagrams — which ultimately is all I want (and I paid to remove ads) — then this is for you.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your review (and for your support)! A new version has been released which incorporates several of your suggestions:

1. After each round, instead of returning to the title screen, you now have the option to proceed to a "New Session" screen which allows you to see the word for the next game and either accept it or choose a different one.
2. The "Found" list may now be scrolled to see all of the found words.
3. Both portrait and landscape orientations are now supported.

Also included in the new release:

1. All-new user interface and a streamlined word entry system for faster entry.
2. A new hint mode which can be toggled on and off during a play session. When activated, the letter count of a word is revealed and two buttons are available to reveal consonants and vowels to help when you are stuck.

The visual reward when finding all the words is still pending. The only reward at the moment is unlocking the "Know it all" achievement.
