## What is Alocate?

Alocate shows where your equipment is, what condition it is in, and what is happening around it, from the field, on your iPhone or iPad.

Alocate is the companion app for Alocate cellular trackers. Your organization's trackers report their position, health and camera video, and the app puts it all on one live map.

LIVE FLEET MAP
• Every asset on a full-screen map with its latest position, speed and signal
• Online and offline at a glance, with the age of the last fix
• Follow a moving asset, switch to 3D, and see your zones on the map

ASSET OVERVIEW
• Open an asset for where it is, what it did and what happened: Insights for today, 7 days, 30 days or 12 months, recent sessions, geofences and recent activity
• Live view: the full-screen map with the tracker's camera, one tap away

VEHICLE DIAGNOSTICS
• With an OBD-II adapter on the tracker, see engine load, speed, fuel, coolant, torque and more, live and in replay
• Tap any reading for a plain-language explanation

LIVE VIDEO
• Open a tracker's camera and watch it live from wherever you are
• Video is only viewed: the app never records from your phone

RECORDED DRIVES
• Browse recorded sessions by date
• Replay any drive with its route, video and readings in sync: speed, location, power and connectivity

GEOFENCES AND ALERTS
• Draw zones around yards, job sites and customer locations
• Get notified when an asset enters or leaves a zone, goes offline or comes back, or starts and finishes recording
• Choose which alerts reach your device

TEAMS AND ORGANIZATIONS
• Invite teammates as owner, admin, operator or viewer
• Work across several organizations from one account
• Pair new trackers by scanning their QR sticker

Built for construction and heavy-equipment operators, rental fleets, remote sites and field-service teams that need visibility without relying on stable power or Wi-Fi.

An Alocate account is required. Live tracking, video, recordings and alerts need Alocate trackers paired to your organization. You can create an account in the app, or join an organization your administrator invites you to.

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.1.0 — 2026-10-29

• Asset Overview: opening an asset now shows where it is, Insights for today, 7 days, 30 days or 12 months (distance, time moving, sessions, top speed, idle time, upload), its recent sessions, geofences and recent activity. The live map and camera are one tap away under "Live view".
• Vehicle diagnostics (OBD-II): engine load, speed, fuel, coolant, torque and more from a tracker connected to a Bluetooth OBD-II adapter. Set the adapter up from Device settings, see trends over a session, and tap any reading for a plain-language explanation.
• Map: offline trackers show in orange and turn grey after 12 hours; every pin carries its name (toggle in the header); Fit and Follow sit under your thumb; a replay opens framed on the whole route.
• Tracker status: a coloured dot shows the tracker's state while it is online, and the replay timeline can show that status along the drive.
• Tracker builds: owners and admins can install the latest tracker build from Device settings.
• Faster replay: the first frame of a recording appears in about a second.
