Other apps that use Mapbox have no issues. ### 2/5 — Server errors *2025-03-14, version 2.8.1* Get multiple server errors. This has increased in frequency recently making the app unreliable. ### 1/5 — Better Options Available With Far Superior Maps *2025-01-18* I’m not typically this brutal with my reviews but there’s no excuse for this aside from being cheap. It’s clear to me that Aloft selected Mapbox for their maps due to the fact that Mapbox’s API is amongst the least expensive options out there. Even OpenStreet Maps are better than Mapbox. Unless you’re intimately familiar with the area in which you intend to fly…good luck finding anything based on landmarks, streets or other points of interest. I felt the need to give them a fair shot, but I’m uninstalling this with a quickness! I’ll keep an eye out for future updates, but as long as they continue to use Mapbox…forget about it! ### 1/5 — Broken app *2025-01-11, version 2.8.0* Could not make account in app. Had to use web and a different email. When I messaged aloft for a question they responded with in 20 minutes. It’s my name, an email, and a password, what’s the wrong format? Recently purchased an organizational plan for my agency for flight logging and aircraft/battery management and am very pleased. Upon initial setup I had some questions about configurations and general setup. Aloft support was prompt and incredibly helpful.
