Even the fb login says that is is not supported or something like that. And the daily tournament is not working even though there is the remaining time for today’s one. Will it ever be back again? ### 3/5 — Expensive, too many ads but nice concept *2022-06-20, version 2.14* The idea is pretty neat, but even your undos aren’t for free, so expect to reset your boards a lot and so to build frustration. Pretty easy just to follow some rules to complete them. Also over complicated ui for the start screen - surely you just need one button saying play game, not 10? And seems designed to get people to buy over priced coins (although I wonder how many people need to). But as a principle I can’t stand pay for coins games - just set a fair one off or annual price. Make a move and then keep jabbing at the screen to lay a tile ...I can complete a puzzle in my head in a few seconds but it takes an age of tapping. It copied from my clipboard without my permission and I had to ask the app not to track. ### 3/5 — Unsure if sudoku fans would enjoy *2020-10-05, version 2.14* Unlike what the app claims, I am not sure if sudoku fans would like this game. In sudoku, guessing is never the opt-to strategy. Every number can be placed with logic, and one can be certain that there is only one solution. I am not sure if ALOL follows the same principle. I often find myself having to guess on difficult puzzles (and using the hints offers little advice on how I should continue, as it only reveal a random square piece). If guessing is one of the necessary ways of solving ALOL puzzles, I would drop this game. I believe ALOL could be improved by providing helpful, logically-backed hints for users to progress (like most sudoku algorithm solvers). It is, after all, A Life of “Logic,” right? Shouldn’t the hints provide logical reasons to the revealed squares? For now, I rate this a 3 stars. This game shouldn’t claim that sudoku fans would love it, unless the players can know for certain every boxes can be filled with logic, and not hypothetical assumptions. ### 2/5 — Simple and fun but not worth *2020-09-21, version 2.14* It’s a good game to pick up but with how energy it costs to start a stage, it’s definitely not something you can enjoy much like other puzzles. One puzzle can cost you 1/5 of your total energy and it only keeps getting expensive. You can’t sit down and do the puzzles continuously without paying for the premium, which is also much too expensive for what it gives you. It’s like a toned down sudoku for 10x the price with too few puzzles to justify the premium. ### 4/5 — Great game, but.... *2020-09-04, version 2.14* So, i just downloaded this a few days ago. It’s a great game with simple concepts/rules. But it gets more difficult/challenging as you progress up the level, so it’s great to keep you wanting to play more. Here is the downside: 50 energy point seems too little to enjoy the game properly, especially as you progress up they zap the energy like crazy. Furthermore, while you are playing, the 10 minute timer to fill up 1 energy point actually pause! So you are not filling up on the energy point while playing! I read the review before me and your response was like 50 energy point is equivalent to 1h of play. But no... it’s not. Prob 15 min max. Trust me, you might wanna be more generous in giving more energy point while we are levelling up, and unfreeze the timer while we are playing. The long wait between play might just make us stop playing completely. ### 2/5 — Problème *2020-08-31, version 2.14* Le jeu refus de s’ouvrir et ne demande pas de mise a jour. I finished all the “aged” puzzles months ago... yes, the daily tournaments feature new puzzles, but this game needs some new features and updating especially for the cost and if you want more people to buy it. The games fights against other players are fun, but it sometimes takes a lot of time to get matched and, even then, some players refuse to play the game... The game offers great puzzles but definitely needs new features (for example, we “grow from a toddler to a wise man”, you could have a “path” for a woman, different people, etc. Thanks! ### 3/5 — Great but slow? *2020-06-24, version 2.14* After paying for the game I find that the game slows down a lot, resulting in a very unpleasing experience when trying to mark blue and red squares as the delay results in attempting to tap multiple times, and the annoying tip comes up saying you can’t have too many of that color in the row. I know that there’s too many because the game failed to register my double tap for a red. I have just freshly restarted my iPad and turned off sound and music to try and troubleshoot thing, but the same problem occurs after a short time when playing the game. I would love to give a better star rating. What do you do with my clipboard data? It’s obviously not necessary for you to operate this game and so is very much in breach of the GDPR in the UK and EU. I am just curious as to how you get alternate skins for the 1 and 0 blocks. I’ve seen it in photos of the game but I don’t know how to get to them, like the bird skins or whatnot.
