## What is Alongside?

Coordinate care for an aging parent, partner, or loved one in one private place.

Alongside is a family caregiver organizer for medications, tasks, appointments, notes, and handoffs. Invite relatives, neighbors, or trusted caregivers into a private Care Circle so everyone can work from the same current plan.

Open Alongside to see what needs attention, what is due soon, who is responsible, and what has already been handled. Missed, overdue, changed, and unassigned care stays visible until the family addresses it.

COORDINATE MEDICATIONS

Create medication schedules and reminders, assign responsibility, and record doses as taken, skipped, or missed. Each confirmed action includes who recorded it and when, giving the Care Circle a shared medication history.

SHARE TASKS AND APPOINTMENTS

Create one-time or recurring caregiver tasks, assign them or leave them open for someone to claim, and track completion. Keep appointments, preparation details, responsible people, outcomes, and follow-up items together.

SEE WHAT HAPPENED

Alongside automatically builds a timeline from care activity. Members can add observations and contextual comments, while important changes remain connected to the relevant care item.

Review a structured briefing of unresolved items, important changes, missed or skipped care, observations, completed work, and what comes next. Open the underlying activity whenever more detail is needed.

PRIVATE CARE CIRCLES

Only invited members can access a Care Circle. Organizer, caregiver, and viewer roles control what each person can do. Organizers can remove access, export Circle data, and request deletion.

BUILT FOR REAL CARE DAYS

Realtime updates help members see changes from other devices. Clear offline and pending-sync states show when an action still needs server confirmation. Notification preferences and quiet hours help each member control routine alerts.

START FREE, EXPAND WITH PLUS

Free includes one Care Circle, one recipient, and up to three active people, including the organizer. Core care coordination, history, notifications, and offline support remain available on Free. Plus expands capacity to three owned Care Circles, three recipients per Circle, and ten active people per Circle.
