### 5/5 — Alora is an A+

*2026-07-17*

I have really enjoyed my new sleep routine with Alora. I’ve been focused on getting good quality sleep and this app helps me wind down and wake up feeling supported not anxious.

**Developer response:** Supported, not anxious" — that's the whole reason Alora Wake exists, so reading this made my morning. Building a sleep routine you actually enjoy is no small thing, and I'm glad the wind-down and wake-up are both pulling their weight. Thank you for sharing this, Diane.

### 5/5 — Smart Wake

*2026-07-15*

Great idea being able to wake to your own music! The feature I’m most interested in is the Smart Wake Intelligence. It’d be nice to wake up at the right moment in your sleep cycle. Feeling fully rested.

**Developer response:** Waking to your own music changes the whole feel of a morning — glad that landed. And that's exactly what Smart Wake is for: it looks for a naturally lighter moment in your sleep in the window before your alarm and wakes you there — always at or before your alarm time, never after. Hope it gives you those fully rested mornings.

### 5/5 — Impressive

*2026-07-15*

The amount of features available on Alora Wake - sounds, calendar sync, AI alarm assistant, and pre-sleep routine - allow for a truly bespoke experience towards optimizing your sleep and daily schedule, whether your in Pittsburgh, Basel, or Melbourne.

**Developer response:** Pittsburgh, Basel, or Melbourne — that's the goal: a morning that fits your day wherever you happen to wake up. Really glad the sleep sounds, calendar sync, and pre-sleep routine are coming together into something that feels built around you. Thank you for taking the time to write this.

### 5/5 — The alarm you didn’t realize you needed!

*2026-07-15*

One feature that really stood out to me is that Alora Wake isn’t just another alarm… it takes into account your individual sleep patterns to help you wake up at better times and without that terrible adrenaline/cortisol spike.

I also think this could be especially helpful for anyone with ADHD as there’s a delayed sleep response in ADHD that can make waking up rested more of a challenge.

The ability to notify a parent or accountability partner if someone doesn’t get up adds an extra layer of reassurance that I think could be especially valuable for teens, college students, or anyone who has trouble waking up consistently. It’s a thoughtful approach to a problem a lot of people deal with every day.

**Developer response:** You've put your finger on exactly why the backup notification exists — a quiet safety net for anyone who can't afford to sleep through a morning, whether that's a student or someone with an early flight. And yes, waking during a naturally lighter moment in your sleep is so much kinder to your body than being jolted out of a deep stage. Thank you for thinking through who this could help — that kind of perspective genuinely shapes what gets built next.

### 5/5 — Best Alarm App I’ve used

*2026-07-12*

I travel a lot for work and use Alora Wake to give me a complete breakdown of my day as soon as I get up. It allows me to have a head start on where I need to be and what contacts I need to make. The ability to use the Wake Up Challenges feature also helps with those mornings that you just don’t want to get out of bed. The gentle hints on the problems is helpful when you need them most.

Also, the ability to wake up to a favorite song on Apple Music is a nice feature to change it up from the normal sounds that I’ve heard for years.

The planned bed time and health trackers have helped me track my sleep and fitness while getting me off my phone dinner before bed. It connects to devices and shows me all my stats for the day. This is something that has helped me get my health back on track after terrible sleep patterns and low step counts. It helps track patterns that I normally wouldn’t have seen while making me prepare for sleep earlier.

I recommend this app to anyone who needs some organization from the start of the day to the end!

**Developer response:** Having your whole day laid out the moment you wake up — especially on the road — is exactly what the morning briefing was built for, so it means a lot to hear it's giving you that head start. And I'm glad the challenge hints and Apple Music wake-ups are earning their keep on the harder mornings. Hearing the planned bedtime helped you rebuild your sleep patterns made my week. Thank you for such a thoughtful writeup.

### 5/5 — Perfect way to wake up!

*2026-06-12*

The gentle wake feature makes waking up so much better. I feel so much better in the morning.

**Developer response:** This is exactly what we hoped Gentle Wake would do — ease you into the morning instead of jolting you out of sleep. So glad it's giving you better mornings, Val. Thank you for taking the time to share it.

### 5/5 — Very helpful features

*2026-06-11*

Being able to connect to Apple Music is quite nice that I can’t get from other alarm apps. The feature where if you miss an alarm, a text message is sent to someone, has saved me many times.

**Developer response:** Waking up to your own Apple Music and knowing someone gets a heads-up if you sleep through — that's the kind of quiet backup we wanted Alora Wake to have. Really glad it's come through for you when it mattered. Thank you for the kind words.
