No idea what is wrong…. Took some time and coaxing. Buggy as heck. Over the winter it just stopped working. I’m trying to reconnect it now. Hours wasted. It doesn’t recognize my account. When I try to set up a new one it freezes. It’s basically worse than useless. App was working fine for almost two months at least. Now on my iPhone, I was able to log in at first and see everything, but that completely stopped working. Now I try to log in and the app just says please wait and nothing happens. I know the dehumidifier is still working but the app sadly is just not a nothing I do fixes it. ### 1/5 — Good product, terrible app *2025-12-03, version 2.0.6* The app is so poorly designed that the printed instructions even tell you to ignore attempting to pair with Bluetooth. It flat out says that will not work. However, you have no option to bypass selecting Bluetooth to get to the WiFi. I got it to connect, once, briefly, but I had a temporary internet outage and it hasn’t worked since. I even removed the device and attempted to do a fresh install. ### 1/5 — This is the WORST APP EVER *2025-11-30, version 2.0.6* The dehumidifier its self is good quality but the app is absolute garbage. At first I couldn’t get my phone to connect to it and now I can’t even login to the app anymore to try again. Tried to create a new account to try again and won’t let me create a different account using a different email….. Very disappointed. At this point I wish I didn’t spend the extra money on this function. The brand needs to pull this product off the shelf until this is fixed. Probably the most dysfunctional app I've ever experienced. Very surprising it seems to be a solid product otherwise you would think they would put a little more effort into making a functional app. After iOS 26.1 I can't open it at all. ### 1/5 — Worst Functioning App Ever *2025-11-11, version 2.0.6* It doesn’t connect to the device. Worthless. You will regret it. They do not stand behind their product and it is NOT wifi friendly. I reset 4 times and it keeps saying “email sent with password reset instructions” after I have already reset the password. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2025-09-19, version 2.0.6* This app is absolute garbage and makes me doubt that I made the right decision with the dehumidifier I bought. First, immediately after ordering the humidifiers they told me they had to send replacement motherboards that I had to replace myself in my crawlspace. I got the app working after the laborious process of getting them to connect, then I update iOS and the app no longer functions again. Just blank white screen. How hard is it to design an app that connects to a dehumidifier? Seriously do not buy their products, especially not if it requires this abysmal app. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — POS *2026-07-05, version 2.0.6* I did exactly what it instructed me to and it even said it was connected and it successfully connected but in the app my device has a little red icon next to it which means it can not see the device and I can not change anything. I erase the device three times and set it up as new each time and it would say success. But when I go to the app after it says it connects it can’t and I can’t change anything and a little red icon. So damn annoying when you pay a ton of money for something and you can’t get it to work. I hate this company and I hope they go bankrupt. ### 1/5 — It won’t work *2026-06-26, version 2.0.6* It won’t connect to wifi, tried everything. App is junk ### 1/5 — Designed to not work? *2026-06-04, version 2.0.6* This app is useless. Changing a password requires you to check your email for a code, and then after putting in the new password and the code, the app says it will email instructions on how to change your password. Didn’t I just do that? Also, the app never sends that email, and the app won’t accept the new password. Rules are not given (no dashes allowed, so auto-password generator doesn’t work), nice. It’s as if the app sucked SO BAD, that they don’t even want you to be able to log in to see exactly how bad it is. So, despite an hour of messing around with it and putting in codes, I still can’t log in to see the app. I hope their software development team sees this review and fires the people responsible. ### 1/5 — Cannot creat account!! *2026-05-19, version 2.0.6* Maddening. Just installed the unit and cannot get the app to work. Have deleted, reset, tried multiple Times. Please fix this… ### 1/5 — Worst app and customer service *2026-05-08, version 2.0.6* If you are buying from this company to get a dehumidifier you can control remotely…you’re wasting your time and money. The app hasn’t worked for over a year. AlorAir-C tells me they hope to have a new app in 6 months. We spent extra money to get WiFi for controlling remotely. Now it won’t even take a login. Have deleted, reinstalled, reset the machine. It’s a good dehumidifier but the whole point was to be able to control it remotely. Very disappointing. All good so far. ### 5/5 — Better Than I Expected *2025-09-21, version 2.0.6* Based on other comments, I was worried it wouldn't work. Instructions aren't great. Powered it up inside and connected with the app before installing in crawl space. To connect, needed to power on, connect unit to iPhone via bluetooth, hold up/down buttons to get wifi, enter wifi password. To sign up for an account, I had to use a password with no special characters. I also checked the Agree to Terms box on the opening screen, rather than on the screen that let me register my name. Once all was working, the App is simple and provides the critical info. So, all good!! ### 2/5 — App needs work *2026-06-19, version 2.0.6* As a code developer, I feel the current state of this app is incomplete and needs an update.
