ALPConnect® app. is developed to display audio and visual signals of your AL Priority® Multipurpose Laser System over a Bluetooth® v4.0 Low Energy connection on your iPhone®, iPad® or iPod touch®. With this application, a wired connection to AL Priority is no longer necessary, but the new ALPConnect® Module offers dual control options. Could be better *2025-12-06, version 9.5* Does the basic stuff for the ALP system. Helps test sensors, do configurations, but is slow when getting lit up by a laser. At least a second or two slow! Can’t really use it for live stuff, only testing and configs ### 2/5 — CarPlay feature needs to be added *2023-08-18, version 7.6* It’s been years since customers have been asking for carplay compatibility and yet nothing. Will not connect to bluetooth module even though its registered to it. I change sound output to phone so it will stop interrupting the music and its basically crashing over & over again. Is there a way to lower the volume separately from the music? It would be great to have a volume control just for this app and not for any other audio being played. Other than that it’s been great, no crashing or other problems here. ### 1/5 — Completely unstable in IOS, crashes constantly *2021-02-14, version 7.2* I love the system and I loved the app for the first year that I had the system, I had the alerts routed to my earbud via my iPad so that I could hear the system over the radio or so passengers didn’t have to listen to it. Ever since a major apple update, what have been 2 years ago,the app is useless. It crashes and disconnects at random whether in the back- or foreground. The crash intervals are random, sometimes less than a minute between restarts. It’s intolerable considering this is going on while I’m driving, my attention can’t be on a passive system in the vehicle that isn’t working correctly. I would have to say in all honesty that 90% of the time I’m on the road now the system is turned of because either I can’t hear it or I have passengers so it’s utterly useless for my needs without a functional app connecting to the Bluetooth module. I try it from time to time when the app updates but no joy yet. Not bad for a $2500 system. 😤 ### 5/5 — App has caused no issues *2020-12-04, version 7.2* Looking at other reviews, this app has come along way. They update the system and app quite frequently. I highly enjoy the firmware update OTA feature. I like how the app tells you the speed you were doing when a laser first hits you. ### 4/5 — Works very well most of the time! *2020-06-22, version 7.1* I have the v2 Bluetooth module connected to our ALP setup. I’ve never had a ticket since installing this and I have a 3 second jamming timer. So any delay between the LIDAR detection and alert is very fast. Has saved me at least 20-25 times from LIDAR. Countless times from basic K and Ka band radar.
