Booked a taxi to goto dinner 4 hours before the pickup time and it was accepted. An hour before Alpha cancelled the booking and only by luck I picked up the email. When I rang them they said it was outside their area despite their website stating East Grinstead. Why could they not be honest and at the least ring me to let me know they wouldn’t honour the booking. ### 1/5 — Pointless app *2022-11-14, version 1.5.0* Booked a taxi for 6.30am to go to the train station for a train at 7.08. They took the money. Turned up at 7.02. There is no point using this app to book anything because they don’t actually schedule taxis to meet the bookings they’ve taken. Never again. Deleting the app and finding another taxi service.
