Wish they hadn’t abandoned it *2020-08-06* Like the title of the review says it is really a great game. Have had a lot of fun progressing through the different stages but there is just one problem. Once you get to stage 4 it white screens in between levels and you can’t progress further and it seems there’s a few things in the game left unfinished like a guild tab but the last update for the game was 7 months ago. Seems like they could’ve had a great game on there hands but decided to no longer support it or got busy and just forgot about it who knows but for a free game and what you can play it is a decent time killer. ### 3/5 — White screens on 4th world *2020-07-09* I got into part of the 4th world but keep running into a white screen that freezes the app. It’s a great game but this bug makes it difficult to play ### 2/5 — White screen of death *2020-01-17* Abandoned Factory level 6 goes white screen and will not advance. When you get to the new set of levels plan on getting one shot A LOT. Since you’re getting killed so quickly you won’t be able to upgrade anything anymore. So you’re just stuck without being able to get any better. Just go get Archero. Alpha Soldier is garbage.... ### 3/5 — Bootleg *2019-11-18, version 1.2.3* Bootleg Archero ### 2/5 — Same car, different paint job. *2019-11-07* Right off the bat there is nothing whatsoever that sets this game apart from Archero. Same mechanics, energy system, gear system, level up system and power ups, even the enemy units are direct copies. Honestly the only real difference is that everything underperforms. The starting weapon takes too many shots to secure a kill. The ricochet power up in Alpha Solider is weaker, as it requires enemy units to be right next to each other for shots to ricochet and sometimes it just doesn’t work at all. Enemy units deal huge amounts of damage from the very start, most likely to force losses and eat up energy which in turn makes you rely on gems to even play the game. Overall just a poorly made clone that needs A LOT of tuning and redesign to set itself apart. The only real upside and the reason I gave two stars was for the design of the game. I really enjoy the neon-futuristic/digital aesthetic and the character designs are very stylish and resemble a Japanese made game. With the right amount of work and some extra features to set itself apart this could be a great game. But until then you’re better off playing Archero. ### 1/5 — Worth than original *2019-11-05, version 1.2.2* One star for bad copy! ### 3/5 — Similarities Abound *2019-10-30* As a few other reviews have said, this game is much like another game called Archero, with little difference: level progression is the same, skills are literally the same, enemies act the same, etc. Really all that is different is the textures and art. I’m a big fan of this genre, and the game isn’t bad, but I would love it if there was more of a unique feel to the game itself. ### 1/5 — Too hard unless you pay money *2019-10-29, version 1.2.1* I played this and a game like it called Archero and this one is so hard that you die in 2 or 3 shots so you cannot progress and you can rarely get diamonds to get better gear. Once in a while when transitioning between one map level and another (after beating that level) the screen Will switch to a white screen (which it’s supposed to do). But once in this white screen, the next level will never start. You will be forever trapped In The white screen in between levels. Even closing the game and opening it up again doesn’t fix it. So you have to start over. It’s totally game breaking. Bummer. Because it’s a fun game otherwise. Il n’y a plus de système de forge ????!! En gros assembler 3 items gris pour augmenter en item vert... D’autant plus que le lvl max du stuff gris c’est 5 donc t’es vite « bloqué » Le jeu est devenu frustrant car les monstres sont trop long à tuer... j’ai sommeil quand je joue franchement c’est pas top pour un jeu video Avant pour commencer un niveau il fallait dépenser 2 point d’énergie/20 maintenant 5... Maintenant j’comprend que vous ayez reset le jeu car clairement il était pas parfait mais c’était ok( avant on ne pouvait pas drop d’arme) maintenant c’est incroyable comment le fait d’avoir enlevé la forge a rendu le jeu décevant ! Je suis content pour tout le stuff qu’on drop et le nouveau système de shoot(shoot en continue, avant c’etait par rafale de 3balles). Mais bordel remettez moi cette forge !! 🤣 c’est la base de tout ces genres de jeu ! Et la paye d’énergie à 2 (même si je sais que c’est pour combattre la dépendance aux jeu vidéos je crois...) Bref vraiment pas content de la MaJ en générale... je trouve personnellement que vous avez tué votre jeu 😩 et puisque je l’aimais beaucoup de base même si il était pas parfait...Et c’est pour ça que je try hard ce commentaire, désolé...
