## What is Alpha Zulu Log?

Alpha Zulu Log is an electronic pilot logbook designed for professional and recreational pilots who want a clear, efficient way to record, manage and review their flying experience.

Quickly record flights, import roster information and maintain a detailed electronic record of your flying career. Alpha Zulu Log automatically calculates flight time and can determine day and night flight time from flight details where sufficient information is available.

Key features include:
• Quick and detailed flight entry
• Roster import for planned flights
• Automatic flight-time calculations
• Day and night time calculation
• Career and recent flying summaries
• Aircraft and registration tracking
• Distance-flown calculations
• Import of historical electronic logbook data
• Authority-specific electronic logbook reports
• PDF printing and export
• Automatic protected-device backups
• iCloud backup and recovery
• Manual JSON backup and restore

Multiple aviation authority formats

Alpha Zulu Log supports logbook reporting formats for SACAA, UK CAA, EASA, FAA, Transport Canada, CASA Australia and CAA New Zealand, allowing pilots to select the format appropriate to their requirements. Your specific Civil Aviation Authority Logbook can be added to the list on request.

Roster to logbook

Import upcoming roster information and keep planned sectors separate from your completed logbook. After flying, rostered sectors can be reviewed and confirmed as logged flights.

Your flying history at a glance

Review career totals, recent flying activity, aircraft experience and other useful summaries from one place.

Your data stays under your control

Alpha Zulu Log stores your logbook data on your device and provides automatic backup and recovery, including iCloud backup when available. Manual backup and restore tools provide an additional way to protect and transfer your logbook data.

Alpha Zulu Log is intended to assist pilots with maintaining their personal flying records. Pilots remain responsible for ensuring that their logbook entries and records meet the requirements of their applicable aviation authority.
