The only reason I gave it 4 is because the phone scan to enter feature never worked for me. And very recently I thought I missed a few incoming notifications but then I checked and there wasn’t any record of the event in the app at all. It got transferred to my cell and I was able to give them access so no big deal, but in rare situations when I really can’t answer the app comes in clutch. Especially in the middle of a workout class! ### 2/5 — Needs to save password *2026-07-09, version 1.3.16* Unlike most apps, the password is not saved so when someone rings the bell, you have to manually enter your password to see who it is. By that time, the person has walked away. The developer should try living with the app someday. ### 2/5 — Always glitchy *2026-06-18, version 1.3.16* We utilize this at our condo building and love it when its functioning correctly, however thats not often comparatively. Every day i have to Physically go to the Call Box and make sure it’s connected with my cell phone for it to show the video feed. Most often times the call will come through with the video feed will not. Which of course defeats the purpose. We have acquired a few times about why these things happen and how to fix them but have never gotten a real remedy. ### 3/5 — Needs volume adjustment and Apple Watch compatibility *2026-06-09, version 1.3.16* I miss almost all my calls from the intercom because I’m hard of hearing and cannot increase the volume of the chime or use flashing light mode on my iPhone. It would also help if it was Apple Watch compatible. It crashes It re-launches It hangs It loses your creds, forcing re-auth It does at least one of these things Everytime I launch the app and use menu features. Plus The alpha touch primary touch screen entry device has a poorly designed user interface. ( The primary video display and access unit used for door entry) 1. The most used function "access code" on the display is such a small on screen soft button it's difficult to push. 2. The soft key numeric keypad is sluggish. 3. It's confusing that you have to press soft key shirt entering your code. Why not include that instruction on screen. Over all user interface off app and the actual very expensive door entry appliance is bad. Also consider in the modern residential living environment package delivery is one of the most frequent entry requests. The the concept that package delivery drivers will use QR codes is ludicrous. They are most airways following the instructions on some notes in their own app and can't natively display a qr code associated with a package. The app makes it complicated for residents to give out guest access codes without qr code. And residents can't choose their own access codes for guests. They must use the randomly generated access code. The system designers are woefully out ofc touch with resident needs. ### 2/5 — Won’t stay logged in *2024-06-09, version 1.3.14* Every time I want to open the front door of my apartment, I have to log in to the app. Do you know how annoying that is? There’s no way this was user tested ### 1/5 — Not good *2024-06-02, version 1.3.14* Wrapper around their website, not a native app. Signs out too frequently and there’s no password autofill. App does not use keychain to remember passwords so you have to log in to the app every time someone rings the bell. 2. The developers didn’t assign associated domains within the app package so you can’t use a third party password manager to easily auto fill passwords either. 3. If you can’t type your password fast enough, the call is dropped and your visitor doesn’t get in. 4. When your visitor rings again, if the app is still up on your phone, the call will not hand off to the app. The call will ONLY hand off to the app if the app is not already open. If the app is open, it just answers via phone and opens an audio connection to the intercom so you can’t see the video. This process plays out EVERY TIME a visitor rings the bell. At least until I reset my password to something I can type very quickly which creates its own security issues. Apple Watch support. ### 5/5 — Needs improvement *2024-09-05, version 1.3.14* The system has some issues that need to be improved, for example you can't turn the volume up and down in the app and it's too low so you can barely hear when someone ring. You also can't see if someone is outside unless they ring and also suddenly one day I stopped receiving direct calls from the doorbell in the app, it just rings the phone with an unknown number. I hope they can fix the issues soon because I've already had packets lost due to not ringing the doorbell or not hearing it. I see someone made a similar comment a year ago, I hope you take it more seriously by fixing it. ### 5/5 — Needs improvements *2022-10-11, version 1.3.7* 1. The volume on bell ringer should be able to go higher or lower. Currently it’s too low. 2. The call drops when you switch from using phone to alpha touch. There should be a function to allow you to reconnect when that happens. Not user friendly. 3. Calls are no longer coming into my app instead delivery calls are coming into my home office home which I don’t have access to allow person entre.
