## What is alQibla?

alQibla provides you with an easy tool to precisely determine the direction of qibla from any location around the world and calculate the prayer times for your city.

Features:
1. Prayer Times based on your calculation method & location.

2. Prayer Times Notifications based for all prayers.

3. Notifications can have different Adhan for each prayer.

4. It uses iPhone's built in location services to determine your location and gives you the direction to Qibla on a Map.

5. Find the Qibla direction from any address using the search feature.

6. It also allows you to find Prayer Times for the following calculation methods:
-Ja'fari Ithna Asheri 
-University of Islamic Sciences, Karachi 
-Islamic society of North America (ISNA) 
-Muslim World League (MWL) 
-Umm al-Qura, Makkah 
-Egyptian General Authority of Survey 
-Institute of Geophysics, University of Tehran

7. Prayer times tuner to make adjustments and share monthly or yearly prayer timetable with your friends/family/relatives.

8. Includes a graphical compass for iPhone 3Gs + devices with the compass hardware.

9. Hijri Calendar with important events.

Search could use the following formats: 

1. Full address or Zip code (example: NJ 08544)
2. Cities, states, and continents (examples: France, Tehran)
3. Famous places (example: Masjid Ul Haram)
4. Coordinates (example: +38 34′ 24″, -80 32′ 57″)

Requirements:

1. iOS 15.0+ installed with Location Services (Settings > General > Location Services) turned ON.
2. Also requires either a WiFi or a mobile network to load the map tiles.
3. For prayer time adhan notifications iOS15.0+ is required.

This used to be an amazing app with lots of customisation options that have been removed and it’s been continuously getting worse with each update. Why is the settings menu bouncing up and down!

I have used this app for more than 10 years. Azaan notification works probably 5 percent the time.  It is a great thing built in the system but only if it worked. It would be blessing if it could automatically notify you with daily change in prayer time. Great effort.   With phone alarm, one has to change it at least weekly, if not daily.

Don’t recommend to any to download it, I used this app for long time but now it’s playing up. The azam i choice doesn't work when time for salah it doesn’t notification. Waste of time.. 👎👎

JazakumAllah amazing app. I only use this for prayer and compass, so I was surprised that it even had an islamic calendar! As a recommendation, please allow us to receive notifications for the calendar events. It would be very helpful :)
