## What is Alsatea HR?

Alsatea HR is the official employee app of ALELM ALSATEA Company For General Contracting (Dammam, Saudi Arabia), intended for company employees with credentials issued by the HR department.

With Alsatea HR, employees can:

- Clock in and out with GPS location verification at approved work sites
- Submit attendance correction requests with a photo
- Request leave and track leave balances in real time
- Submit permission and location-change requests
- Receive work-related notifications and approvals
- Managers can review and approve team requests
- Secure sign-in with optional Face ID / Touch ID
- Fully bilingual: English and Arabic with full right-to-left support

Location is used only in the foreground, when you clock in or out — there is no background location tracking.

• Corrections are simpler: choose what to fix — clock-in, clock-out, or both — and enter only those times. The times already recorded are shown, so you adjust instead of retyping.

• Days with more than one shift show every session and correct totals.
• Track your shift progress from the home screen.

• Corrections ask only for the punch they are about: "I forgot to clock in" no longer demands a clock-out you never made.
• Same-day corrections now work, including days you were off-site and could not clock in.

• A day you forgot to clock out of now reads "Missing clock-out", not "Marked absent".
• Backdated leave tells you how far back you can go.

What's new in 1.4.0

Attendance corrections, reworked
• Ask for a whole day in one request — the app suggests your clock-in and clock-out from your scheduled shift, or from the punch a geofence blocked.
• Worked away from your assigned site? A correction now covers that day, and you can name the site you actually worked from.
• Clearer guidance when a day cannot be corrected: a closed payroll month, a day you were not scheduled, or a correction you already have pending.

Requests and approvals
• Search your requests by name or ID, and filter by date — All, Today, Yesterday, or the last 7 days.
• Approvers can search pending items by employee name or Iqama.
• Every approval step names the person who approved it, and a pending step shows who it is waiting on.

Employees
• Managers open an employee straight onto their attendance table — day, in, out, and status at a glance.

Plus more reliable push notifications, fixes, and performance improvements.
