## What is alsFre Verlag?

Learn German with a free dictionary, examples, pronunciation audio and flashcards. Build your vocabulary from A1 to C1 and use companion audio alongside your alsFre books.

Understand and remember words
Look up meanings, examples and common word combinations. Translate German into English, Spanish, Arabic, Hindi, Turkish, French, Persian or Ukrainian. Save useful words and review them with flashcards.

Audio for your alsFre books
Activate supported alsFre titles with the corresponding book code. Listen to vocabulary and reading audio, including companion listening recordings for the alsFre model-test books for telc B1/B2, Goethe/ÖSD B1 and Goethe B2. Book-specific access is separate from a Pro subscription. Transcripts are not included in these audio companions.

Focus and take notes
Use the focus timer or Pomodoro, keep personal notes and grow your study forest. Five hours of confirmed focus time completes a plant. The timer and the first three plant species are available without Pro.

Your German study planner
With Pro, Mentor organises vocabulary, reading, grammar, listening, writing and speaking practice around your level, goal and study time. Short practice options help you return after a break. Pro also includes visual vocabulary by level and topic, study insights, calendar integration and optional cross-device learning sync.

Exam practice
Find four free model tests in My. Work at your own pace or in exam mode, then review your answers using the answer key.

Access and subscriptions
The dictionary, saved words, flashcards, notes and focus timer are free. An account and an internet connection are required for online content. Supported book audio requires activation of its corresponding title. Pro is available as a monthly or annual subscription. Available products, local prices and billing periods are shown before purchase.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through your store account before renewal. Payment is charged to your Apple account at confirmation. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your store account settings.

The app interface is available in German and English. alsFre is an independent publisher and is not affiliated with or endorsed by telc, Goethe-Institut or ÖSD.
