Friendlier Pay / Hire / Book again copy. Smoother release payment → leave a review. Reviews: bigger stars, clearer CTAs, role-aware chips. Browse nearby / All Australia showing open tasks again. A few reliability fixes under the hood. ### 2.5.0 — 2026-09-14 New altitude. We spent most of this release under the bonnet of Account — cards, bank details, settings — so it loads faster and feels less like a waiting room. Less waiting. More doing. Then we opened the wallet a bit wider. Alipay & WeChat Pay join Afterpay and Klarna when you hire. Pay the way you actually pay. Also in this drop: Travel mode — flip currency when you’re on the road, without starting over. Notification prefs — you choose what lands. Skip the rest. Offer templates — write a strong offer once, reuse it next time. Hair, shopping & fitness — new categories for jobs people already ask for. Clearer hire-time payments — post free, pay when you hire. No surprises just for listing. Snappier chats — avatars, typing, read receipts, and sounds that don’t miss. Reviews that land when the job’s actually done. Same alt. Quicker where it counts — especially Account. Update and get stuck in. ### 2.4.2 — 2026-09-07 We’ve been back in the studio. This one’s packed with better tools, tighter security, and a few crowd-pleasers. So what’s new in this setlist? Find the gig faster – search nearby tasks, filter by budget, and skip ones that already have offers. Popular tasks, remixed – smarter suggestions when you’re posting, so you spend less time staring at a blank screen. Offer assist – stuck on what to say? We’ll help draft a message that doesn’t sound like a robot wrote it. Lock it down – app lock with Face ID / PIN when you step away. Your wallet stays yours. Prove it’s you – identity verification so trust isn’t just a vibe. Safer chats – stronger moderation so the weird stuff stays off-stage. Maps, Apple-style – Apple Maps where it counts. Profile glow-up – clearer trust signals, easier edits, and a little help rewriting your bio. Nudges that matter – friendly pings to get you posting, browsing, or back in the game. Polish everywhere – splash, payments, offers, and all the small stuff that makes the whole show feel sharper. Same mission. Louder encore. Update and get stuck in. ### 2.3.0 — 2025-10-13 TaskZilla has left the building, and in its place arrives alt. – the cleaner, sharper, cooler way to get things done. Same app, but with better style. - Fresh coat of paint – new colours, refined layouts, and smoother screens. - Tipping made easy – thank your helpers properly with a little bonus when the job’s done. - Task flow tuned up – statuses and progress tracking now work like a well-rehearsed band. - Clearer fees, no surprises – you’ll always know what’s what before the curtain rises. - Smart matching – the app’s got better at suggesting the right people for the right jobs. - Task summaries – quick highlights so you don’t have to read the whole novel every time. - Notifications re-mixed – more reliable pings that keep you in the loop without missing a beat. - Smoother money screens – your totals now show up with more polish (and a bit more flair). - Polish everywhere – cleaner addresses, sharper buttons, updated icons… the small stuff that makes a big difference.
