I can’t always get to my phone but would like the balance when I order at a restaurant to use Apple Pay for example. It is harder to see, and harder to navigate! Everything is so small and hard to read. Some things are in a green field which also makes it hard to read. I loved the old version, why mess with this????? It is enough to make me close my account there. I don’t see how I can navigate between my funds and manage them without calling the bank each time!!!! So so horrible that I have to use the website now. Worst ever ### 1/5 — Convoluted balance display and mobile deposit doesn’t work *2024-09-21* If you were looking for an app to help you keep track of your accounts, their balance display is will not help you do that (at least not with any accuracy). Don’t expect to come away having a confident understanding of what your balances are - especially if there are items being presented during the course of the day. Most of the time they are duplicated transactions showing as well (which will sometimes impact your available balance…according to the app). Second, if you were wanting a mobile app to allow you to mobile deposit, good luck. This mobile deposit app doesn’t work 90% of the time, which means you get to get in your vehicle and go to one of two locations in town (and hope that they’re open during regular after office hours). And the staff won’t help you to get it resolved. This last part is more reflective of the institution, and not the app. God forbid you can’t get to the bank to go make your deposit (because the mobile deposit doesn’t work) and there are items that are coming out of your account soon. Altana FCU will make sure that they pay your items in a way that allows them to charge as many courtesy pay fees as possible. LOOK FOR A LOCAL BANK IN TOWN, RATHER THAN UTILIZING THIS INSTITUTION. ### 1/5 — No Zelle, wait for mobile deposit ability *2023-06-02, version 3.2.0* Very difficult to have a business account with Altana. They have only very limited way to fund the account and if you’re from out of town it’s almost impossible for the first several months since they don’t accept mobile deposits. Other banks with business accounts allow Zelle, but Altana does not. ### 1/5 — New app not user friendly *2022-04-22, version 2.40.0* I have been a member with Altana for years and have always enjoyed their user friendly app. So nice to open the app and see all of your accounts, balances, and due payments. Now the app is difficult to navigate and cluttered. Also difficult for people with poor eyesight or older individuals to see some of the font due to size and color. Very disappointed with this new version and hoping Altana will do the right thing when they see how many disappointed customers they have.
