I played this game at a time when I was dealing with ppl calling me a delusion online already, grief, plus SH, and mental problems. Parts of this game transformed my thinking into something more horrifying, cause I took on ES delusional thinking irl about the world being in her head and us being same person. (Despite this game saying we aren’t same person, and that she was deceiving me.) I caved in to her words about me. Literally to hear a fictional character also calling me a delusion when I was already getting called that by people is crazy and I went along with it.. Being a delusional and traumatized teenager at the time. Wanting to be “different” or “Unique” by being crazy. I wouldn’t recommend this game to anyone.. although I know some people are happy playing it and didn’t have same problems as me. Some people love ES. Just this game isn’t for me. She strikes anger, stress, and fear into me. Playing feels like reliving a traumatic n stressful experience every time I do now. Honestly my warning to other people is please don’t play if you’re going through traumatic stuff, depression, or mental problems. This game might amplify it cause it makes you focus on negative thoughts a lot. Depending on a personality test it finds negative thoughts to subliminally throw at you over and over as a clicker game. It also doesn’t feel like a safe environment. When I show other people they also feel like something is off about this game. If you feel that way too please don’t play it especially if you’re going through stuff. I know I can’t blame the game itself 100% for what happened with me Cause I was mentally unstable, chose to believe blatantly wrong things, or outside sources influenced my opinion of the game. It was my fault too so I can’t with honesty blame the game or the developer for that part. However I do think this game amplifies stuff, and puts out some dangerous ideas about the concept of who you are underneath a game about “Self Discovery” to an audience who wants to learn about themselves or might be younger. (Side note: If you wanna Learn yourself please just look towards your likes and dislikes. Learn from your negative and positive parts. Look towards your morals, values, and actions. Find the self you aspire to be, and also don’t let other people define who you are only you and God should. Don’t mask your identity to people or let their identity define yours. I’m still learning myself in ways so I’m not a pro at the concept or these things, so please feel free to ask other people who may know more about this than me. However I found these things help me a little bit. Also reading the Bible. This is alternatives to finding yourself that I recommend besides playing the game.) Whoever might be reading this. Mejor pónganle un precio al juego desde el inicio en vez de estar queriendo cobrar todo al final. Yo pagué para remover anuncios y la verdad creo que como uno tiene que farmear puntos excesivamente incluso si ya terminaste el juegos 3 veces, siento que no lo vale. Todavía hicieran un cobro por todos los extras, pero no, de verdad considero que no lo vale. Y definitivamente no me dan ganas de jugar más de esta desarrolladora. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 ### 1/5 — On a range of nothing to harmful *2024-08-30, version 3.9.0* The game is a glorified cookie clicker style point collector that claims to help you discover yourself. You spend most of the game looking at and clicking harmful, negative affirmations and spending hours grinding to get to the next non-personality test that seems to only exist to look down on you. You’re better off just googling for personality analyses. Very little of the game actually focuses on the personality analysis, which is the main draw, you’ll grind up enough points only to get told to come back later with no test being done. The tests themselves also aren’t good. It falls into a common pitfall of being basic multi-choice personality tests where there’s no option remotely close to what you actually feel. It’s highly inaccurate and too broadly reaching. The game takes a route of superiority with what it gets out of these tests though, looking down on you and focusing almost exclusively on negative traits you may or may not even have. This is harmful. Constantly repeating and emphasizing a depressive tone like this and applying it to the player will slowly shift people’s outlooks to be more and more negative. The main game mechanic is looking at negative affirmations and quotes, internalizing them and making them seem normal in your head. Even if you don’t read them, your subconscious is still processing them. In the end, that only makes it harder to push past your self doubt and negative beliefs to grow. This isn’t healthy. The marketing targets this game to the vulnerable, people who are lost without a sense of self. These people are especially open to this kind of negative conditioning.
