It does work well with this game. I’d like a game upgrade patch to facilitate better gameplay. You can play the game offline, but you are limited to not being able to rewind and save. The problem is the ads (as all mobile games are), however. You can’t even save without viewing an ad! Not only that, but the game gives you an ad often when you pause! Good However. *2020-04-13, version 4.1.0* You will notice when you get this game it is 9+ (from the App Store 9+ means cartoon/fantasy violence) but this is more than cartoon violence, this may seem shocking, but there is some mild blood every time you defeat an enemy, the storyline is more than dark for 9 year olds, it’s about rising from a grave to defeat enemies attacking it. This should be age rated AT LEAST 12+ for mild blood. The game is good nevertheless, going back to the 90s to play the nostalgic beat-em-up on a really annoying piece of mechanisms. The shocking age-rating is why the 3-Star rating from me is shown. There’s also some gore! 12-17+ age rating for me. Shocking age rating for sure. Thank you for reading this long piece of writing. SEGA, please change the age rating if you read, I just want kids to be appropriate, please change the age rating, it would make the app much better. I enjoy this, it is pretty hard however, that’s what brings it down, but that’s what the original version was like. Over all, I give it a 8/10. The controls are great, the levels have variety, the bosses are simplistic yet satisfying and the presentation is atmospheric. I’m really starting to wonder why so many people overlooked this title as the pack in game for the Genesis before a certain blue hedgehog came along. ### 4/5 — Great but there is a bug *2019-08-24, version 4.0.2* when on the third level at the beginning I can’t jump high enough to reach the other side or get up to so I waste a life and it makes it harder to get past that level ### 3/5 — This is. If you try to exit the ads, the game restarts. I can understand showing ads in between the game ending and a new game but to slam players with two ads before you even begin is cheap. What a pile of junk. I deleted it. ### 1/5 — I just watched that!! It’s not okay to have so many ads! *2021-11-24, version 4.1.3* Advertising is very intrusive, it took over 30 seconds to get thru an ad, just to get hit with another, I haven’t even hit START yet! Can’t really give you much of a review on game play bugs or anything else. Couldn’t even get that far before getting frustrated and uninstalling. It gets stuck on the loading page and stays there. I downloaded another saga retro game to see if I had the same problem but I didn’t. I’ve deleted the app and downloaded again more than once. As a consumer I should have a decent amount of time to check these classics for decent game play! Greed causes corruption. It can cause consumers to steal as well.
