However I’ve had to use the hack of changing my time zone to Japan to get past the login screen. For 2 months now. Why isn’t that fixed? Other than that it’s fun to run around in True Cross Academy Town beating up demons. New content is slow to come out, though, and the game is full of objects and features that seem to promise further expansions, like cooperative play and some kind of decoration/building personalization space, that aren’t yet realized. Hanging in but it’s getting a little dull, and the recent coffee shop event was kind of a dud. ### 3/5 — Log in rewards bug *2025-09-03* Hey so, great game so far. Downloaded it and I played it late night. The daily log in reward screen won’t function as intended. I try to tap to receive the rewards but I don’t receive the reward and you can clearly hear the characters in the background. I try to tap to close and it won’t close. Getting pretty close to just uninstalling this game. I’m a big fan of Blue Exorcist but this just made the game unplayable. Which is ok with me. Where it is not ok is the graphics, character stiffness, and lack of free camera because their camera options are bad. The graphics while ok look exactly like “SAO IF” that released in 2017. The camera schemes they are using takes away from immersion and the combat. And the combat in general is basically the same as SAO IF. Which was great 8 years ago. Basically the game is living in the past instead of making any strives of its own and while I believe that could work it doesn’t when you don’t use the best parts of what made those games successful. ### 3/5 — Blue exorcist lovers will enjoy *2025-07-29* The game has its own original story and for those who enjoy the anime it’s a really nice experience. The new characters have personality, they are not generic , created only to fill up space in the game. Jirei Komori is probably my favorite from the new ones. The game was released about a month ago so I understand there are some glitches. Some of them make the game unplayable, for example, the daily reward that you can’t always claim or leave the screen (this one specific can be solved by changing the time zone your device to Japan but still inconvenient). I finished the main story and side quests in about 2 weeks and that really frustrated me. Now I basically have only daily missions (to kill slimes, deliver packages, collect herbs), challenges that need key (you get 5 daily)(you get resources to enhance your team), and searching hidden chests/completing challenges. It’s honestly getting a little boring… hope they add more story soon and fix this timezone bug. I love the new characters, and the dynamics they have with eachother.
