It saves me so much time in researching potential trades. Don’t whine about the free version, just pay for one of the payed programs for a month and get to work. ### 1/5 — Paywall Trap for Basic Features Locked Features, Misleading Access — Not Worth It *2025-08-10* I downloaded AltFINS hoping for a functional crypto screener, but the app is extremely limited. Even on the paid Basic plan, I couldn’t set up simple EMA 20 and EMA 55 crossovers — a basic technical analysis feature. The app forces you into their most expensive tier just to unlock essential tools. This feels like a bait-and-switch, leading users in and then upselling heavily for features that should be standard. No other service I have seen comes close. The documentation is great. The emails with trading tips are great too. However, the Web app and the mobile app need UI updates to make them easier to use.
