Il existe une appli qui mesure l'altitude en fonction des données du capteur barométrique de iPhone 6 et 6+. Ainsi l'altitude est celle, réelle, de l'iPhone, et non du point GPS au sol. Il est ainsi possible, par exemple, de mesurer combien de mètres ont été gravis en montant des escaliers. Voire en levant simplement le bras!
Ce serait chouette si cette appli prenait en compte les données de ce capteur aussi pour l'altitude réelle, en plus de celle détectée en GPS.

Obliger d'activer la géolocalisation pour être utilisé.
Posé par terre ou dans ma main le bras tendu sur la pointe des pieds, il m'indique le même chiffre.

Not for trail finding or search and rescue. OK for taking the dog for a walk in the hills and getting ( very!) approximate idea of elevation hiked.

After the major update, the toggle at the bottom to go between meters and feet is no longer there. I can’t figure out where to translate it back to feet. And the help button in the app leads to an empty page. Help me?! Fix it?!

Bonne appli gratuite. Il faut accepter de patienter quelques secondes pour que l'altitude se stabilise. Pour aller plus vite, il y a la version payante.
Pour info, l'iphone n'a pas d'altimètre. Dans ce type d'appli, l'altitude est déterminée grâce au GPS. C'est donc l'altitude du sol qui est affichée, pas la peine de monter sur une chaise pour voir si ça change quelque chose ...

I love this app, it's very accurate with cell service, and seems okay without it if you have a strong GPS signal. It can take a minute or so to get more accurate though. Also much better looking than any of the other altimeter apps I've looked at.

I have tried 3 altimeter apps including this one and if you take into account the tolerance stated on the screen, they all give comparable results! This one has an interface that appeals to me. 
MAKE SURE YOU READ THE TIN BEFORE YOU JUDGE THE PRODUCT WITHIN!!! CHECK THE TOLLERANCE ie Accuracy to within + or - so many feet/meters!! The way the system works , YOU CAN'T  POSSIBLY GET PIN POINT ACCURACY!!!

Bonne application fiable et précise au mètre près.  
il faut bien être a l extérieur pour capter  le Stellite qui permettra de vous donner l altitude.
