Précise, rapide quel que soit le lieu, surtout si l'on a utilisé la boussole au préalable. ### 4/5 — Love it, but two fixes needed *2015-04-02, version 1.3* As a former pilot with over 1,600 flying hours, I love this app, but it needs two fixes: 1) it always starts up with altitude in meters and there should be an app setting that allows for the user to select feet or meters; and 2) it needs a "tens of thousands" pointer because I'm currently at Breckenridge CO (altitude 10,049') and elevations over 10,000 feet could be misread in the ANALOG display (in this instance, it displays as 49'). ### 4/5 — Yves Gap Hautes-Alpes. *2015-01-27* Après 6 mois d'utilisation je suis très satisfait. Cet instrument donne avec une bonne précision et une fidélité exceptionnelle ,la hauteur d'un lieu par rapport au niveau moyen des mers. C'est donc bien un altimètre. Comme tout GPS la précision dépend de la bonne réception des satellites, donc à utiliser en milieu ouvert (éviter les tunnels et bâtiments). Il n'est pas utilisable pour l'aéronautique car non certifié. Pour cela il faut investir dans un instrument barométrique et apprendre à s'en servir. Pour la randonnée c'est l'appli idéale. You want altitude, you get altitude, quickly and reliably consistently if you have a good GPS signal (+/- 9 feet in my tests). And as an aviation kind of person the classic altimeter face readout is a nice plus. NUL ! **Developer response:** The app uses the preferences set on your iPhone globally. So if your region uses meters, Altimeter X uses this unit. Since version 3.0, you can bypass this setting in the app (gear icon). Depuis la version 3.0, il est possible de forcer l’affichage en pieds (icône roue crantée).
