When you stream it to any tv and your phone locks the video will pause. Major headache, we are in 2026….. I don’t know why people pay for this service, YouTube TV, Fubo, pretty much any other platform provides a higher quality non-laggy stream. ### 1/5 — Avoid at all costs *2026-04-07, version 2.8* Beginning of the Nuggets season, this app was great. Relatively low ads, great quality, etc. Ever since the all star break this app has gone downhill and then down another one. Yeah, 2 hills. You can no longer run the app in the background and god forbid you turn your screen off, the app will shut down (never an issue in the past). That liquor store ad was bad enough, now there’s more! Just sucks because this app was great at one point in time. $20 to watch the nuggets and not have to worry about paying YouTubeTV. Please fix, that’d be dope. (Update 04/06) had to cancel, can’t use airplay or chrome cast. This app sucks. ### 2/5 — It’s ok *2026-04-02, version 2.8* Video quality is fine but you need to be able to hide the scores. Also the replay functionality is terrible. After a game ends the replay might be available for hours later. If you can do a live replay during the game in seconds you should be able to have the whole game ready immediately after. ### 2/5 — Doing the job but there’s a long way to go *2026-04-02, version 2.8* Overall, it’s doing the job of letting me follow the Avs, but they’re leaving a lot on the table as far as a good user experience goes… 1. The broadcast frequently lags or glitches and the only way to fix it is to exit full screen mode, at which point it will go into super fast forward chipmunk mode until it catches up to the live broadcast. 2. I 100% agree that there needs to be a “no spoilers” or “hide scores” mode. There’s nothing more annoying than turning on a game after it’s already started only to have the live score blasted in your face. Might as well just start from live at that point. 3. Another annoyance is that you can’t rewind anymore for some reason? In the past, you could, but even that was poorly implemented. If you had rewound and the live broadcast ended, it would dump you out of the video player. Just imagine how irritating that is if the game has gone into overtime - not only does it exit the player, but then (see issue #2) it immediately shows you the final score *totally spoiling the ending!* 4. Lastly, there’s a recent issue I’ve seen in the last few weeks where the player controls never fully go away - a ghosted image (like 5% opacity) of them always remain on screen. This has not been a problem on the iOS app, but I have this problem on 2 different TVs, one that uses an Apple TV and one that uses a browser to access Altitude. All of these are issues that should never have made it into a release. Where’s the QA process?? UPDATE 4/1/26: 1. Glitching/lagging seems to have gotten better. Still not always perfect, but definitely better than before. 2. Still need a way to hide scores. This should be an easy add. 3. Rewind still does not work on AppleTV iOS app 4. The ghosted image of the video player controls that never go away is still a problem. - Also would really love to see a “catch up through key plays” feature like I’ve see from some other providers like ESPN and YouTubeTV ### 1/5 — Why are there popups? Ruined my watching experience *2026-04-02, version 2.8* My watching experience. Within app has been ruined. Altitude has presented non stop popups (bet 365 popups) totally distracting my viewing experience. Even when I turn them off the popups in the settings, they still come up. As a paying customer this is ludicrous and stupid to have to deal with. Won’t be renewing because all you care about are ways to make money. ### 1/5 — Worst monopoly in Colorado sports *2026-04-02, version 2.8* Altitude won’t allow you to get NBA games on other streaming services, then go on to offer you the worst app you’ve ever used. They don’t have a TV app so you have to play from your phone. It constantly crashes, shuts down if you use your phone during the game, or even disconnects if you lock your screen. It’s also 30 seconds delayed from real time. Could not be worse. ### 1/5 — Score Spoilers *2026-03-31, version 2.8* The clunkiness of the app can be forgiven, but not being able to hide scores is not. Will be unsubscribing. ### 1/5 — Forward/Backup of live stream or past video file doesn’t work *2026-03-28, version 2.8* Video forward or backward is junk - the file pointer reverts to the beginning of the file when trying to advance the video - the worst playback application ever. When casting to a TV it crashes on me all of the time, and I have updated religiously in hopes that this might help. Signed up for the month to month and got charged the full year. Best part they won’t refund my subscription because they can’t find it. Even when I sent a copy of my bank statement showing the full year charge. This company is owned by the same person who owns the LA Rams, colo Avalanche and nuggets, and pro football (soccer team) in Europe. But they take my 200 dollars and then play dumb. ### 1/5 — Functional but bad *2026-04-24, version 2.8* This is the most expensive app we pay for and it hardly works. You can watch the game (Avs) and that part works… mostly. You can’t rewind, pause, or do anything but watch it live. If you start late…forget it! Live only. There is a weird ghosting image of the status bar. At first we thought it was burn in but on a dark screen you can actually see it still counting. So it seems in stead of making it go away after a few seconds it just dims. No other app free or paid does this. Just very disappointing. Do better! ### 1/5 — BEWARE! *2026-04-20, version 2.8* 0 Stars if possible less! This app is advertised as being able to fast forward and rewind, nothing could be further from the truth. You are fortunate if you can watch it at all. When requesting a refund (I tried to use it a handful of times throughout the NBA season and it never worked as advertised.) I was told you used it so too bad, we are keeping your full year payment. If you want to cast to a TV, forget it. For some unknown reason the casting feature can’t find any TV on the network while every other app on my phone can. I was able to miraculously get the Airplay feature to work, but the app requires your phone to stay active the entire time. Wildly disappointing to pay for Altitude+ and have minimal screen sharing abilities at my own home for nuggets games that are already annoyingly difficult to watch.
