## What is Alume?

Alume is an RSS reader for iPhone, iPad and Mac that integrates artificial intelligence directly into your reading experience.

Bring all your favourite websites, blogs and newsletters together in one place.
Read without distractions in an optimised reader mode. And let the AI do the rest — summaries, suggested tags, automatically generated annotations.

· ANNOTATIONS & HIGHLIGHTING
Select a passage whilst reading to highlight it. Choose a colour, add a personal note or ask the AI to suggest one. Find all your annotations organised by article.

· ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
Connect the AI provider of your choice: Claude (Anthropic), ChatGPT (OpenAI), Gemini (Google), Mistral or a custom API. Alume imposes no model; you remain in control of your data and costs.

· AI SUMMARY
Receive a smart daily summary of your feeds, generated by AI from your own subscriptions.

· CUSTOMISED SMART FEEDS
Create bespoke feeds using combined rules: keywords, sources, tags, estimated reading time or publication date. Choose between AND or OR logic.

Features :
- A custom tag system can be found in the app settings. You can now tag posts with one or more tags and filter them on the posts page.
- Silence filters. You can add terms and words in the app settings: any articles containing these terms will no longer appear.
- Two new smart feeds: long reads (articles taking over five minutes to read) and trends.
- Filter by language in Discover: view suggestions in other languages.

Improvements :
- Optimisations diverses.

Design :
- A visual redesign of the macOS sidebar to make it easier to use with a mouse.
- Visual redesign of the settings window on macOS.

Bug fixes :
- Podcasts assigned to a folder appeared in the Articles view.
- Empty folders were appearing in the Articles sidebar.
