This is a pretty good idle game to pass the time. ### 4/5 — The barrels *2022-10-01, version 1.4.15* Every time I close the game out it deletes everything I’ve collected from the barrel taking me longer to complete the assignments, and keeping me from completing the special events if there’s a way to fix it so I can keep everything from the barrel without having to check on it every ten min, that would be nice ### 3/5 — Data mismatch *2022-09-14* Since the update whenever I return to the game, there are no ads available. Nearly every time you load up the game and try and get your double cash by watching an ad, the game glitches and forces a restart. It hardly ever restarts on the first try, but when you finally get back in, you lose your double cash. Super frustrating. ### 3/5 — Been playing a while but… *2022-08-17* So I love this game. Love the show and so many of the references make me laugh. But recently there’s a problem that keeps happening where I have to reload the game. It tells me there’s a data mismatch and it all has to reboot. This can happen after playing an advert to get a boost and when it reloads the boost is gone. Either extra feathers or double your offline earnings. Gone. It’s incredibly annoying and has been happening for a while. Please can we look into fixing this? ### 4/5 — Good but could be better *2022-07-11, version 1.4.13* I started playing this because the office version is straight up trash (seriously… we waited 3 months for only FOUR new episodes?) this game doesn’t glitch nearly as much and I love the event competitions… but lately the color planet (puzzle game) ad is RUINING my gameplay. It pops up constantly for no reason, sometimes every 10 seconds it takes me to the App Store for that game. I’ve tried restarting the game and my iPad… still happens. Needs to be fixed or I’m deleting the game. ### 3/5 — Great game but limited *2022-05-15* I would have given it 5 stars but like many idle games there gets a point where progress is so slow it’s a bit demoralising. I’m on episode 414, I have to play events in order to progress to get the rare cards I’m the rewards. The main event cycles the same rare cards you end up with loads of pink cards that you can never upgrade, so you just have to rely on getting new ones/winning them from the events. If you’d asked me to review 200 episodes ago it would’ve been 5 stars it’s a great game otherwise. **Developer response:** Thank you for the review and feedback! ### 4/5 — A great game but.... *2022-03-05, version 1.4.12* I recently downloaded this game because I am a fan of Always Sunny. I love how it is different schemes through each level, I love the character designs, and I love the different trading cards you can earn, I am having a blast playing it but I would like to point out that as of late since the update a week ago, when opening the game the load screen stops at 62% wherein it either crashes or freezes. All in all a great game but I would like to be able to continue playing, since I have finished sets of characters and have given tons of money for events. **Developer response:** Sorry to hear about this issue! Thank you. ### 1/5 — excellent customer service *2022-02-02, version 1.4.11* Update… I am downgrading to one star due to the constant issues with crashing and not being able to access the game. I haven’t been able to get in since last week. The customer service is still very responsive but they don’t seem to be able to fix the problem. I would give the game itself four out of five stars… It’s a solid game and fun to play. The extra star is for the excellent customer service. My game got stuck with a task that was going to be impossible to complete in order to finish the episode I was on. The customer service rep took care of it for me and was very prompt and friendly. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — If you like ads, this game is for you!! *2024-07-11* Constant ads that require 3-4 clicks to get through. I’ve been playing this game for a looong time. It’s addicting. But the ads are relentless. Be warned. Theses people are the spawn of the devil. Oh and the game hasn’t been updated in 9 months! 2 MONTH FOLLOW-UP: Nothing has changed. They actually wanted me to do their legwork in response to my last review. Asked me to submit the offending ads to them. I basically told them, it's not my job to do your quality control. It's every ad you have that requires 3, 4, 5 taps to get through. So now it's 2 months later and what do you suppose has changed? Nothing. It's all about the money, not the user experience. **Developer response:** Apologies for those ads. Can't load the game at all, get this error when it hits 'checking for updates 12%' and just stuck in a 'try to reload' loop. Then he responds via support email with “…sorry, we can’t help at this time…” just say that in the review response! So much wasting our time. Since the app is no longer supported for iPhone can I get a refund for my in game purchases? I’d prefer to use them in game but sunny devs are doing a SBF-FTX on us. The last month or two has been non stop issues. From days of the game not loading at all, to over 2 weeks now of the ad bonus feature not working at all and crashing the game, the last couple days it started crashing non stop without clicking on anything and now a special event has ended and I cannot collect the rewards to start the next event. I am the Golden God! ### 5/5 — Great game *2022-12-06, version 1.4.15* I’ve been playing this game for a few years now, and I love it. The only problem I have with it is after you get so far into it there isn’t much you can do. I have no cards left to upgrade for the regular schemes. So trying to complete them takes weeks, I have to wait for events and get card that way. I would like to suggest implementing other challenges to complete schemes if possible. The main ones are always “upgrade scheme card, purges de two gang cards, upgrade 3 cards, ect..” I have endless beer to spend so maybe something to do with beer, or more crystal challenges. Otherwise the game just gets boring and there is no point in playing. Love the game and the stories, just needs an update. ### 5/5 — Well I’m becoming annoyed *2022-10-11, version 1.4.15* Loved this game, no major issues in the past. Support was always ready to fix issues. Lately though, I mentioned the barrels in the main event to the team and they said they would get right on it. That was like 2 weeks ago now. I pay for the bonuses in the special events, but I like to be competitive here, and that includes working for my eggs. I’d like some eggs in these trying times, and I can’t even hustle for them. An update for everyone would be nice, or some eggs since this is Taking so long to fix. 😑 also, I’m still getting error messages when I’m ready to upgrade a Charlie character in the Main Event, forcing me to reload the game. Someone said Mac And Dennis get it on, it’s the closest to Mac’s fantasy if you make it happen for us! Guess that’ll be my only rating redeemer here. ### 5/5 — One suggestion *2022-06-16, version 1.4.12* Idle games are some of my favorites. The one suggestion I have is to create a “no ads” option. Like, pay $2 and the buttons are instant instead of having to watch an ad. It’s something I purchase in every game 😂 other than that.. this is highly addictive. The comic book style stories are great. The art is eye-catching. This game uses ads for part of its revenue, which is totally fine. I’m happy to be a free-to-play player. I don’t win the events, but i can still have a good time. However, the ad sounds are problematic. Many of the ad networks like VUNGLE don’t let you mute them. If I have muted my phone and muted the game, the ads shouldn’t come roaring out at me. The download won’t allow me to press it. When I exit and come back to app the download screen makes me click it. Acts like it downloads and then takes back to main game. Attempt to redo the download—same thing. Although the game offers a lot of micro transactions, it doesn't feel like you have to empty your wallet to enjoy the game and all the ads are completely optional. However the latest update is causing me to have a lot of issues with the app freezing, usually right at the end of an ad which causes me to lose my reward :( I'm hoping this is fixed soon but in the meantime I'm still enjoying the game despite the crashing! **Developer response:** Thanks for the great review; we're glad to hear you're enjoying the game so much!
