### 3/5 — Updates required.

*2026-05-02*

I’ve been using half for quite some time now and I feel like the app is not very suitable for iPad. That’s what I found in my experience. The app window is not very convenient to operate with on iPad particularly. It feels like the app is not optimised for iPadOS and that sort of bugs me during my sessions online so that is something that can be fixed.

**Developer response:** Hello, thank you for sharing your feedback. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. We understand your concerns regarding the iPad experience and app optimisation for iPadOS, and we’ll take this into consideration for future improvements. In case you have any other feedback, kindly contact us at support@amahahealth.com. Take care!

### 5/5 — Abysmal app

*2026-04-19*

The app is just not good. If I change therapists, I have to use the website? No way to book a session from the app for a new therapist? Is there a way to switch off all the extra pings and pings everywhere on every page? You are recommending an AI chat bot for counselling, there is no disclaimer attached, where can I read a paper on what clinical work went into it or is it just a wrapper on top of Claude?

**Developer response:** Hello, thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your experience with the app did not meet expectations. We appreciate you raising these concerns and would like to understand them better. Please contact us at support@amahahealth.com so we can assist you and address your queries. Take care!

### 5/5 — great experience!

*2026-02-23*

I’ve had a really positive experience working with Srijita Gupta. Her approach is thoughtful, practical, and deeply empathetic, which has helped me gain clarity and feel more grounded over time. I truly appreciate her professionalism and the comfort she brings to every session.

**Developer response:** Hello Prachi, thank you for sharing your experience! We’re so glad to hear that your sessions have been helpful and that you’ve felt supported and comfortable throughout the process. Your kind words mean a lot to us. Wishing you continued clarity and wellbeing on your journey. Take care!

### 2/5 — Really irritating

*2026-01-18, version 8.17.17*

I can find no way to save a particular track, and there’s no search facility to find it again. It seems a very user-unfriendly app, on first acquaintance. I like the voices of those who guide the meditations, as they are soothing, Indian voices and not strident, nasal US ones. But absolutely hopeless unless you can search for a particular track, or at least save it. I will be cancelling my sub because of this.

### 2/5 — It was good until it wasn’t

*2026-01-18*

After gathering alot of strength and courage, I decided to begin this journey and I thought Amaha would be a reliable partner. I had a few sessions with one of the therapists and before I could dig deeper into my issues and work on myself. The therapist left the organization without preparing me for it. I was simply asked to move on to another therapist as if therapy is such an easy and casual process like some other service. I was really disappointed with the experience and I don’t feel like going back to therapy

**Developer response:** Hello Anushka, thank you for sharing this. We’re truly sorry for how this transition was handled and understand how difficult this must have been. This isn’t the experience we want for anyone. If you’re open to it, please reach out to us at support@amahahealth.com so we can support you further.

### 1/5 — Would not recommend

*2025-12-02*

I recommended them to a friend after she said she wanted to take therapy since she’s going to a new country soon. She took two offline sessions with the therapist I recommended to build a rapport with him so it would be an easy transition moving abroad. He assures her that she would be able to take online sessions from her new country. Once she’s there, she’s unable to book any session, or even reach out to him on the app. I called the customer care on her behalf which was an excruciating experience. I’d call them, explain the situation, and they’d assure me that they would call me back with an update. I called them eight times over a period of two weeks. They never once called me back. Once, they didn’t even pick my call. They told me later that the therapist needs to take some kind of training before he could take therapy sessions for clients abroad, which could take a week. Two weeks go by, no update. When I call them, they repeat the same thing (we’ll get back) and the therapist then emails her that he can provide her a recommendation letter for her to take therapy in her country of residence. What an enormous waste of time and effort. Zero accountability, zero transparency, zero honesty. And so condescending to offer a recommendation letter, as if she couldn’t take therapy in her new country without it; instead of, you know, just admitting the truth that you messed up and that you won’t be able to provide the services you promised. Really put the “professional” in mental health professional.

**Developer response:** Hello, thank you for sharing this detailed feedback. We’re very sorry for the experience you and your friend went through. This is not the level of communication or support we aim to provide. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and will be reviewing this internally to ensure such issues don’t recur. Please reach out to us at support@amahahealth.com so we can look into this further and offer the right support.

### 5/5 — My therapist is the best

*2025-11-29, version 8.17.14*

I found my therapist via Amaha. Thanks

### 1/5 — Not professional

*2025-11-11, version 8.17.12*

The therapists are fairly inexperienced

### 1/5 — Customer support harassing me from morning of 23-oct-2025

*2025-10-23, version 8.17.9*

I asked refund of 3300 INR for cancelled session with a psychologist on 17-sep-2025 but they send me fake screenshot and alleging me that I am lying.Psychologist here are cunning - one psychologist Vaibhavy Adiga puts full makeup on to attract boys customers and does timepass with gals - I told her I have lizard phobia and she asked me are you afraid of snakes-I told yes like all humans I m afraid of snakes.Full timepass psychologists they have - 1 hour - 1800 INR or 3300 INR and at end of session Moumita Chakraborty and Vaibhavy Adiga force to book next appointment in front of them before leaving the room- total mental harrasment - they give no solutions - only listen and bye bye. Please don’t go amaha as they cheat customers and make money-so many better places for therapy are as below - Manoshanti HSR layout Glass onion Therapy HSR layout I don’t think they will refund my 3300 INR - I am not crorepati like them - 1 rupee of my honest money is important to me - See they have stolen 3300 times of that because I cancelled session with Moumita Chakraborty for some family emergency. Sukoon centre therapy also good Go anywhere but don’t go to any online sessions or JP nagar 7th phase physical sessions with psychologist I doubt if they are really psychologists or quacks or fraud doctors Hoping no patient ever goes there and all existing patients should be aware about such fake companies looting money from already traumatised mentally ill patients May LORD punish them all and hope their centres close down one by one as they are financially exploiting customers of their hard earned money.

### 1/5 — Absolutely disgusting, never works

*2025-06-20, version 8.17.1*

The app never opens on iOS. chat doesn't work often and the app refuses to respond to taps
