I use the app every day to make sure that my accounts are secure and in order. New push alerts, barely any features at all. More importantly, though, Amalgamated is still using SMS for two factor authentication. This is a known vulnerability. Nobody serious is using SMS because it’s so easily hacked. It very slowly processes charges (like 1 day to 6 days to process charges), then when you overdraft a single cent, they rob you of $40. This bank also doesn’t answer their email, the locations have dwindled more and more, hours are too short, they clearly don’t value their staff or customers. ### 1/5 — Literally the worst *2026-06-11, version 6.0.0.15969* This bank makes it virtually impossible to access your money.
