Title says it all. Waste of time energy and I’m sure money. I just want to deposit a check!

The app uses a completely asinine proprietary two-factor system that’s finicky, error-prone, doesn’t work with password managers, and locks you out of your account if you’re not careful. Devs - just integrate with mainstream Authenticator apps - what are you doing?!

The app itself works fine once you’re logged in.

This app is simply horrible and user hostile. It takes well over a dozen clicks to deposit a single check, goes through multiple useless screens with no ability to bypass, etc. and there has been no improvement in years. Just another dumb bank.

Last developer note from 11 months ago says “we are continually working to deliver an exceptional user experience in the app”. Well, they deliver - it is exceptionally useless as impossible to log in, with different errors each time to entertain. 

Love the mission of a better world. Wish i didn’t have to suffer as a customer so much 
to support that mission relative to even the horrible customer service of the big banks.

Get error messages whenever I try to log on. What’s the point of creating an app that doesn’t work? 

Amalgamated Bank is a great bank — too bad their app and online banking in general are so badly designed, so user-unfriendly.

I got a message saying my existing Amalgamated app is no longer supported and that I should download this commercial business app. After downloading, it won't even let me log in without entering a nonexistent Company ID. Bad news. ;(

Much better now…. Moved from a very user friendly seamless Chase App…. More you use it the easier it gets.  I have patience for them because I know how socially responsible they are-  that’s why we do it! Tell a friend to come on board- but remind them to be patient.
